Here we had a mushroom appetizer, pub burger, and chicken tikka masala and all three were mouth watering and to die for. In terms of pub food, this was one of the best meals we had on our trip.

Even on mothers day the staff in this very busy restaurant worked very efficiently and with great humour. The food was not totally home made, as claimed, the Yorkshire puddings and meringues were shop bought but this did not take away from the overall good impression of the food, staff and general presentation. Certainly worth a visit but preferably on... More

Went just for a snack on a recommendation from some locals. The atmosphere of this big place is warm, comfy, and fun. Food was great; fresh and locally sourced, interesteing flavors, and well prepared. The staff was attentive, conscientious, and very friendly and helpful. (Loved Amie) We were even given the opportunity to speak to the master brewer in the... More

This is a very friendly local pub with excellent food and drink. Caters well for families in the restaurant/bar area and the prices are reasonable. Word of warning: if ordering wine ask the price as you could be charged €9 for a glass of Shiraz when the house wine (also good) is priced at €5.50.

Mickey Finns has a strong local loyal following as it is a well-run bar/restaurant. Eat in the bistro for a quieter meal or eat in the bar areas. Same menu. Very good for Saturday and Sunday lunches, as well as dinner. Take a tour of the micro-brewery - situated at the side of the ceilidh room at the back. Excellent... More

I've been to Mickey Finns a couple of times and I've not been disappointed. The food is brought out fast and is very delicious, i had the wings and the burger and they really hit the spot. I then got a very generous piece of cheesecake which was one of the nicest desserts I've had in a while. The service... More

I booked a table for my fathers birthday as I'd been here before and enjoyed it but was bitterly disappointed this time. When we arrived we were seated close to a group who were shouting, singing and clearly drunk. As the night went on they became worse and worse and yet the staff kept serving them alcohol. Our server also... More

Management response:

We are very sorry to hear that that you had a disappointing visit to Mickey Finn's on Saturday night. I was on duty on the night and spoke to the gentleman who sorted out your bill. Yes, there were several family get togethers around you on the night, some with small kids. They were clearly having a good time, drunk... More
