We went with another couple and our babies for late lunch , we had prebooked , service was ok food was ok so we thought... until my wife got food poisining from the chicken wings , I had a few of her chicken wings which...she got as a main and I was letting bombs off all night and we had given our 8 month old a little tiny strip as we had been weening her onto solids , luckily only the one piece as my wife was in a bad way after it was like pregnancy cramps she described to me We had given a good tip and thought it was such a lovely place maybe it was a bad batch but for this reason it's getting zero stars from me.More

We ate here while staying at the river valley caravan park it was very busy so book in advance. Its a nice place and the food was great they had good social distancing and cleaned down everything between customers. The staff were very helpful and...pleasant as well.More

We had a late lunch at Mickey Finns last Sunday and it was really good. We had pre-booked and were promptly shown to our table all the staff were wearing face coverings and taking plenty of precautions which made us feel at ease. We both...hade the aged beef pie which was brilliant I can recommend to all its well worth the visit.More

Arrived at the restaurant and seated at our booked time. Bit of a dark table with a draft. Took 20/25 mins for drink order and food order tone taken. Further 15 mins for drinks to be brought to our table. After that the service was...very good. Food was extremely well prepared and cooked. Both enjoyed a lovely meal and would recommend a visit for others.More

We were staying at River Valley so we booked in for our last night. They require bookings for social distancing. They had hand sanitiser at the entrance and all staff were wearing shields. We saw the staff sanitising tables and chairs after people left. Very...reassuring indeed. We were seated in the brewery as it was used for dinner due to distancing. I had the steak and the Mrs had the burger which were both really good and were both reasonably priced. They have a big selection of their own beer and I would say there is something for everyone. I tried the Gingernut Beer which was very nice and I’ll be bringing a few bottles home with me next time. The staff were very attentive but you never got the feeling you were being rushed at all. In short a lovely dinner in a nice atmosphere, we will be back for sure.More

Food over priced and service poor.... We were offered the special which was a fillet steak. This was over cooked and sides were cold. Service was poor. All round disappointing.

In these Covid times we felt comfortable in the restaurant. Staff were all in shields or masks. Tablles were correctly spaced and menu was sanitised after use. We really enjoyed our meal, staff were very friendly and food was delicious.
