Visited spice recently with a group of friends on a weekend away. A few of us have dietary requirements and the staff were so accommodating. We started off with the house platters which were so tasty and great for sharing! One of the staff members...recommended the goan fish curry and I was delighted I listened to them. All the dishes tasted so fresh and so flavoursome. The naan bread as well was next level. Want to thank the team for looking after us that night and will definitely be back again. 100% would recommend to a friendMore

Ordered 2 Goan fish curries with rice and one nam bread. There was 1 shrimp and I would guess about 4 ounces of overcooked white fish in each of our mains. There was ZERO vegetables in it. Not even 1 slice of a pepper or...a slice of an onion. NOTHING. Basically it was a mushy piece of fish and a puree of sauce. I was astounded that they then charged us 3.50 each on top of 19.95 per main main course!!! €23.45!!!! What the hell is that about? Who the hell eats a curry without any rice or such??? What's the deal with not including rice with a main course, especially at thot price? (23.45) We had to return the first two glasses of red wine we ordered as they were oxidized. (Clearly the bottle had been opened many days previously) .. It was possibly the worst meal I have eaten in quite a few years. When paying I mentioned this to the so called "Manager" (Who, by the way didn't even bother to check how our meal was) . He had zero interest in my complaint, stating "I'll mention it to the "owners" ... WTF??? ... I will never set foot in your disgraceful kip of a so called restaurant again. I am so angry about being taken for a fool. SHAME ON YOU, SPICE RESTAURANT , SHAME ON YOU. - The "manager" had ZERO interest in resolving my complaint. Telling me you will pass it on to the owners?? What a cop out. You should have done the right thing and made some attempt at resolving this issue before In had left the premises.More

Went to Spice recently and ordered the veg. Biryani. What I was given was not a Biryani, the vegetables themselves were good but the sauce (Biryani is a dry curry) was inedible and had to send it back. I then ordered the chocolate brownie, the...was overdone and dry. The ice-cream was nice and out of huger I ate some of the brownie. Don't go here if you want a true Indian meal, go somewhere esle! Wasn't even asked for my COVID cert.More

Had to leave all of my food, which I’ve never done in any Indian I’ve eaten in. Staff lovely and could not fault them how ever the food was disgusting! As you have seen roasted leg of chicken €19.95 (Chef Special) turned out to be...pieces of chicken covered in god knows what and tasted off - Coconut rice was disgusting and oily - My partner even said this Korma tastes very unlike a Korma but ate his - probably the best was the popadoms which as you can see we’re not complementary. Maybe others have eaten and the dishes were of better quality but I definitely could not recommend this restaurant.More

We went here whilst visiting family and took advantage of having baby sitters for the first time in 18 months. Sadly many great restaurants in Wexford have closed since we were last home. We went out on a Wednesday night and it was like a...ghost town. We tried several of our old favourites only to find them closed. Other places were open but were stopping food service. Now, we could smell this restaurant but finding it was a nightmare. You have to go through a pub then up a stairs. Clearer signage would help. Fortunately they were still serving though there was only one other table who were just leaving. The menu is pretty limited but we were so hungry by this stage that we just ordered quickly some Indian standards, paneer to start, chicken tikka masala for main with rice and nan, a pint and half pint of cobra. The portions are large and it was tasty and warm but there was zero spice which is ironic given the name of the place. This made the paneer quite bland as doesn't have much taste anyhow. The chicken tikka was like eating a nice chicken in a tomato sauce. The nan bread was very poor. I sincerely doubt it was freshly cooked in a tandoor oven, it was very dry and like those long life supermarket ones. Disappointing that they are still catering to the "I dont like spicy food brigade" I had hoped those days were well gone. The staff were lovely and friendly service. The young waiter we had serving us was clearly very new, but that's okay he will get more confidence in time. The bill was a shock though at 75euros.!! We hadn't really paid attention to the price before ordering as a curry house is generally reasonable. But that is the price for a top end curry house like Lasan here in Birmingham, one mentioned in the Michelin guide. Unfortunately we won't return as the price is not justified and I want a curry that tastes like curry!More

waited in restaurant 1 hour 30 minutes for food. and then received wrong food. eventually found out that the reason was they do all the phone orders first. this is a delivery service not a restaurant.

The restaurant was not busy but the place was lovely. Top class food and service. Lamb and chicken dishes ordered and we're top class. We would recommend a visit.
