As we were staying in a nearby Hotel, we booked this restaurant on line, and were very pleased to note that they adhered strictly to COVID19 guidelines. The food served here is excellent, and is a must for anybody who enjoys seafood prepared to perfection,...there are also Chicken, Beef/Pork and Vegetarian options on a menu that offers a good choice. The staff were very pleasant, and a good quality Wine List complemented the Menu. Would certainly come here again as it would be one of the best seafood restaurant that I have experienced in IrelandMore

So, so good! Thank you to Jodie and team, amazing food and service. They don’t normally have oysters on the menu but with a few days notice they had them ready to go for us and they were 👌🏻 best place to eat in Rosslare

We had a last minute booking for dinner at Wild and Native this evening and no idea what to expect. However we were blown away by the quality of the food and the excellent service that came with it. This is very much proof that...you can have a great meal out in this post-COVID time. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Rosslare to put this restaurant at the top of your Rosslare visit.More

Staying in Enniscorthy with friends. One of our group suggested Wild and Native in Rosslare as she had read good reviews so we booked a table for four. A half hour drive got us there and we found a parking spot right outside; great as...we had one disabled member in our group. We had booked but arrived slightly early but were met at the door with a very pleasant greeting. Shown to our seats and a very professional young lady greeted us with fresh home made bread and menus and continued to look after us during our stay.( good luck with her studies) We decided on the early bird menu. Two brie and two mussel starters, hardly any talking as everyone tucked in, when we came up for air it was to praise the food. Even though Wild and Natural is a Seafood restaurant we had three steaks and one seafood linguine. Steaks a good size well cooked and hooray; no supplement for choosing them ( other restaurants should take note) well accompanied with side dishes. Linguine was excellent as the person who took it cooks this dish to a high standard herself commented. Two good well priced wines accompanied our food one white one red. Pudding was taken by three of our party and clean plates testified to the quality and flavours. A very good night the highlight of our holiday so far ( but will be had to beat) with very friendly professional staff and a chance to thank the chef/owner in person as we left. All Covid precautions in place and adhered to during our visit. Will definitely call again when next in this area. Thank you Wild and Native.More

I hate giving negative points in a review but we didn't have a very positive experience here. It started off really well, the owner is very welcoming but after the starters which were very good things started to go a little downhill from there. The...kids mains arrived and there was quite a long wait between our mains. I understand it is best to get the kids mains done first and this is something we would automatically want but the waiting time between our mains was too long to the point we said should we say something as we felt we had been forgotten about and I don't think we were the only people who felt the same from what we could see. Our mains when they did arrive looked like they had being sitting under a heat lamp, the fish was rubbery and not very hot, when the potatoes came they were lovely and hot but the surf and turf arrived without the surf. In fairness the owner was apologetic and gave extra prawns as an apology for the mix up. Unfortunately it just didn't seem to be a good experience for us. To add to things, when we visited the restrooms, there was no soap at all in the dispensers which is a big issue during these times, hand sanitizer was provided and the Covid guidelines seemed very well adhered to but proper hand washing is so important during these times after a restroom break. The decor is lovely, there is a good ambiance and our waitress was a sweetheart. Perhaps it was an off night or not enough staff on but for us it wasn't worth the money we spent that particular night, sorry.More
