My favourite restaurant in Wexford by a long mile. We have brought our kids and the kids menu is proper food. The kids loved it. Also have been with friends and again the service and the food was amazing! Jodie and Fergal do a fantastic...job - gorgeous ambiance and so welcoming. Can not wait for season 2023 to open up.More

We have always wanted to try this restaurant and were delighted to get a Friday night booking. We were given a very warm welcome by Jodie (the manageress) and shown to our table. We were looked after all evening by Grace who was extremely helpful...and pleasant. The food speaks for itself, we had mussels and mushroom and thyme soup to start and beautiful chunky pieces of cod for our main course with two dishes of vegetables and potatoes and finished off with banoffee and pavlova. This was a super meal accompanied by a bottle of wine and worked out at great value. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely return again. Put this on your list of places to try.More

Staff are so friendly. Jodie and Ferghal (owners) have got the end to end...experience nailed. Highly recommended and we will be backMore

I have had the pleasure of eating in Wild and Native twice. First time was with my elderly father and my husband and to say that we were well looked after is an understatement. The staff could not have been more helpful, friendly and so...professional. The food was amazing and I just couldn't wait to get back there again. Next time was just my husband and it was just as good again. Cannot say enough about this restaurant, the food is just so good , you really feel like you are eating the best quality food in a most relaxed and warm surroundings. The art work is also fab.More

Our recent ladies night out at Wild and Native allowed us to experience not only aesthetically pleasing dishes but also exquisite superbly presented food cooked to perfection. I can only describe each course as melt in the mouth, full of amazing flavour, texture and aromas....We experienced a delightful atmosphere with a stunning piano room which is tastefully decorated as well as an impeccably decorated and relaxed dining area with so much character. The early bird menu option treated us to top class quality, super portions and at an amazing price. We enjoyed a variety of starters and mains, each surpassed anything I have enjoyed in other restaurants. The service was impeccable with our hosts Jodie and Fergal. We throughly enjoyed our night thanks to your hospitality and amazing culinary talent. Well done on your top quality standards, we can’t wait to be back.More

Thanks to Team in Wild & Native for another very appetising meal of fresh food which was prepared, cooked and presented so beautifully from start to finish and reasonably priced. Would like to thank Siobhan who provided such friendly and professional service throughout the evening...and for her wine recommendation: Picpoul De Pinet which went down a treat. Great to have a restaurant like this nearby and would definitely recommend Wild & Native for a lovely dining experience.More

This is a wonderful restaurant. The food is exceptional especially if you like fish. We have been there several times, the most recent being 16th August. I had smoked salmon for starter & my husband had mussels. Both were excellent. For main course I had...lemon sole & my husband had black sole, both served with fresh vegetables & potatoes. These were divine. The wine list is also very good. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant.More

We rent locally a couple of times each year and the highlight of our stays are dining in this Restaurant. Always a wonderful selection of fish, prices a little on the high side but always generous portions and potatoes & vegetables included. One of our...party does not eat fish and was very impressed with the size and flavour of his fillet. Never fails to please with good selection of whites and red wines. Really looking forward to our next visit. MPPMore

We had a short family break near Curracloe, County Wexford, Ireland and were searching for a seafood restaurant to round off our stay. My daughter & I are big fans of fresh seafood and perhaps naively expected that there would be a good selection of...restaurants. We had been very disappointed the night before in the village of Blackwater which had only a chipper & a Chinese. It was with a some sense of excitement that we travelled the 23km to Rosslare village. There were 3 of us, Nana,Mum & 5 year old, 3 generations out for a gourmet evening. We had an early booking and the restaurant was full. The decor is calming & relaxed and tables are well spaced. The service was attentive with 3 servers visiting our table. Unfortunately the menu did not provide much in the way of variety or thrills. The only shellfish was crab claws or mussels. The list of starters were unispired. I opted for two starters, smoked salmon & crab claws with a side salad. The crab claws were very fresh & nice. The salad was very lacklustre...a few mixed leaves with a sprinkling of pomegranate seed. My daughter ordered the special, which was Ray and we got a bowl of veg soup with a bread basket for my granddaughter. I had water and my daughter a non alcoholic beer. We did not have desserts. The bill came to €84. I felt underwhelmed. I can get Ray,Cod,or Hake at my local supermarket for around 12€ for two. When I go out of my way to seek out a seafood restaurant I really expect something exceptional. The bill was the most exceptional part of the evening. We luckily found a nice local ice cream parlour to sweeten our evening out.More

The food here was fresh and tasty but no wow factor. For the prices charged I would want a wow factor. The room, for me, lacked character ( but it was the early sitting so still bright).

Visited on Sunday evening. What an enjoyable experience. We had starters of duck & salmon starters, followed by Monk Fish & Steak Mains and Creme Brulee & Cheese Board for dessert. Everything was just beautiful. Even the homemade soda bread i over indulged on was...gorgeous. Siobhan & Orla looked after our table and were super friendly & efficient. A class level of hospitality overall and genuinely cant wait to go back.More

We just dined here this evening, the food was amazing, no need for salt or pepper, fresh, perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Nice ambience and interesting art on display. Dessert was divine and the fresh mint tea was a delight. Siobhan was our waitress, friendly,...efficient and an oasis of calm in a busy setting. Very good value. Would definitely recommend.More
