Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Staying in Wexford I did my research and this place gets good reviews. Saved it for the last night as it was quite expense but so many people like it as it must be worth it as a treat. How wrong. Firstly it’s ‘Irish tapas...‘ but it not , it’s a mix of dishes all different sizes to share. The staff do not really explain the menu and it’s all a bit unsure of what it really is. When the food comes , it’s noticeable that it’s pretty average especially for the price. 6 euros for chips - which were not good. A Greek salad that is made from cheap supermarket tomatoes and nothing special. 4 pieces of bread - 5 euros. All in all a very average meal for 2 that was nearly 100 euros for something I could make better at home. Maybe it was a bad day but if you want to get something special this isn’t it and there are some really great places in and around Wexford that will leave a good memory. The wine was good so I gave it 2 stars for that reason.More

dropped in for a quick main course after a super spa stay in Kelly's ! Kitty was serving me, absolutely fab so professional and warm and went out of her way to find me a charger for my phone. Orla was also amazing so friendly...and efficient. I had the chargrilled marinated chicken burger with salad instead of bun and home frys...all fab so tasty and fresh. Washed down with a lovely glass of Rose. Great to finally have somewhere quality and good value on the Rosslare strand...will defo be back. Thank you, Lorraine MurtaghMore

My girlfriend and I come here once a week for dinner and absolutely love it. It's the best restaurant in Ireland and beyond by a mile. Choice of food, cooked to perfection, quality ingredients, the wine menu, the staff serving, and the atmosphere make it...the best.More

Greeted by friendly and warm staff from the moment we walked in the door. I have a gluten intolerance which makes going to restaurants a bit tricky sometimes, A lovely member of staff came to speak to me and gave me a menu with all...gluten free items highlighted. I felt very relaxed and reassured.More

The new sharing menu is fantastic. 14oz wagu striploin sous vide then flashed is the best steak I've ever tasted. The extra care taken to accommodate one of our party with serious allergies was above and beyond.

Fish is lovely and fresh and service is friendly and good. It’s just hard to justify the prices, Sharing four dishes €67, no drinks. Portions on the small size.

Visited wild and native multiple times over this summer. Never fails to hit the high marks. Outstanding menu and food. Carefully prepared by Feargal. All in the very pleasant ambience of a seaside restaurant with the attention to detail led by Jodie and her excellent...house staff. Thoroughly recommended. My favourite restaurant.More

The positives: Good quality, local produce, in a family friendly setting. The food is rather simple, along with the menu choices, and is tastey. The staff are friendly. The place is actually larger than anticipated, so finding a table is not really a problem, so...not being able to book ahead is not a problem. The negatives: really the big negative is the lack value, unfortunately. While at face value the prices are not excessive, the actual portion sizes in our experience was rather small. It is laughable that they are called "sharing platters", it is also slightly ironic that they mention a cost of living crisis on their website. Perhaps we were unlucky with our choices. But 3 mains and a side order, for two adults and two small children, and coming away hungry just doesn't cut it unfortunately, plus a glass of wine for almost 70eur.More

The food was fantastic. We arrived at 9.10pm. The kitchen was closing but they still made us welcome. The Chicken Goujons were some of the best I’ve ever had. My kids loved them. The eggplant halloumi burger was also delicious. Lovely people, great food, I’ll...be back!More

Visited Wild & Native for the 1st time this summer with my friend on Friday last and we both enjoyed a really tasty meal. The management have changed things up this year with “walk-ins” and not bookings which suited us very well. The menu is...more casual with sharing plates, a great selection of wines with one of each white, red and rose by the glass at €7 which is ok. We ordered prawns in garlic butter, two Dexter burgers, a gorgeous green salad with avocado, Beans and a tangy wasabi dressing and skinny fries… we demolished everything! Desserts were also yummy and we had a brownie with vanilla ice cream and a big hunk of a great banoffie… This restaurant will be a great addition to Rosslare strand for the summer and beyond.More
