Have to say was very disappointed. We are on holidays in wexford and was touring the sites in new ross. We stopped here to have a cuppa before visiting dunbrody. Because we were not having dinner the staff member was not interested. I was told..."what if we get busy". Now I understand the situation if there was a queue waiting but plenty of empty tables. We would have left at least 30 euro and would have been gone in about 20 mins. In a time when people are craving business I thought it was very rude.More

Went here last month with my family to say I was disappointed is an under statement.first of all we had our orders taken by an older lady with black curly hair who I presumed was the manager/owner she was very rude and had no patience...while my kids where deciding what to eat after we sat down we waited 32 minutes for our food to be brought to the table my lasagna was hard from being left in the heat so long my kids sausages had Defo been cooked well before they where served and they had shriveled up and my husbands panini was stone cold inside and as I complained about this the lady who took my order basically told me there was nothing wrong with the food and was soooo rude to me about it and then she went and gave out to the waitress about it even though the waitress wasn’t the one who was looking after our table she was. I actually taught the waitress looked like she was going to cry because of the way the lady spoke to her I will never return to this place again and even after I made the complaint I could see all the staff behind the counter talking about us and in the end I left without finishing my food as I felt like all eyes of the staff where on me after I made a complaint..people shouldn’t be made feel that they have done something wrong just because sids diners food is not up to standardMore

Breakfast was delicious. The service could have been friendlier however but this did not bother us so much as we were only in and out to have a quick breakfast before hitting the road.

Ordered food here recently and the waitress was very rude and had a bad attitude. The food was poor and we were never offered a drink. I certainly will not be returning anytime soon and I wouldn’t recommend this diner to anyone else either.

Very polite staff, premises equipped for work men, and industrial types, lots of traveling sales men, construction workers. Have a very varied menu, salads, lasagnes, chicken, potatoes, veg, full breakfasts. Very cheap, good honest food. It even does decaf coffee. Nice busy little place. Good...parking, good toilet facilities. Nice American decor Licence plates all over the restaurants. And retro metal posters. Good experience.More

Walking around New Ross on a Thursday morning around 10 am, saw this place and thought we would give it a try. Lovely warm welcome, as we queued and looked at the menu. Food looked and smelled amazing, i just ordered a bacon sarnie and...a couple of coffee's, wanted to sit outside,. So the lady said - Go and take a seat and we will bring all out to you... Great so we did and they did :-) Lovely service, really felt so welcome. Food came out and WOW hot and tasty! Sat and enjoyed it... I walked in to order another Cappuccino, and the server met me by the door, said I will get it and bring i tout to you... great ... So I sat and was waited upon... Felt special. Highly recommend great staff service and food :-)More

If you are looking for good basic food, then this is your place. From breakfasts to a fine selection of daily specials, which to be fair tasted lovely. However, this is more like a trick stop cafe than a restaurant and staff are so eager...to take your place when your finished your food, that you would be best not to leave down your knife and fork until you are finished! If you like to eat your food fast then this is your place as you certainly wouldn’t feel comfortable here having a lazy lunch.More

This diner is still as good as always.. Plenty of selection on offer.. No small portions r fancy garnish just good proper Irish fresh food.. Full dinner for €10.50 and dessert for €4.50 and its as good or even better that any fancy 5* restaurant....Staff are very pleasant and friendly and helpful.. If I could give more stars I would.. Quiet a favourite of mine..More

Good basic breakfast. Hot and plenty of it. Very full of locals, so I assume that the quality is consistently good!
