Passing through New Ross today with my Aunties and decided to stop for lunch! Ann McDonalds was the first place we spotted so we settled on the spot! Was greeted by a lovely waitress who went above and beyond to meet my awkward food intolerances! My aunts all got the omelette and homemade chips and I got an open sandwich... More

First time in this part of Ireland. Liked the look of this cafe from the outside so ventured in. Was very impressed. Great welcome, prompt service and, most importantly very tasty food. Will definitely return if I am in the neighbourhood again.

Ate here a couple of times, once for lunch and once for dinner. Both meals were well cooked and filling. Owners very friendly

The food is exceptional and very reasonably priced . Service... More

Trip advisor ratings sent us here last weekend and we were both so disappointed. The food was poor - get bad home cooking feel. I had the roast and it had clearly been prepared a long time before 1pm! Roast potato was soggy etc.

The café is also a part of a small grocery and newsagents, you can eat either upstairs or downstairs at the back, the premises is quite small but snug and comfortable,Ann and her staff are great and very friendly, they serve food and beverages all day and also serve the best breakfast in new ross.

we were taken here by the owner of the b&b we stayed at. The staff were all very friendly and the food was delicious with plenty of choice it's a quaint little bistro with all the food freshly cooked to order
