ANN MCDONALDS CAFE AND UPPER DECK, New Ross

2nd visit here. Not disappointed again. The staff here are very friendly and food excellent. Everyone gets great attention and all customers are well looked after. Will definitely be back again.

Always was and still is the best in New Ross

Just enjoyed the most wonderful Sunday Lunch with my family. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The homemade Apple Crumble is absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to go back. My favourite place in New Ross 😀

Staycation

What a great find. Cold, wet and tired on staycation we found a warm welcome, great food and service here. We felt so welcome we went back for breakfast. Delicious smoothies and lovely chat with Ann. Recommend for families. We will be back.

Worth A Visit

Stopped for lunch while passing through New Ross recently. A warm welcome on arrival from the owner. Great menu with lots of options for the kids. Home cooking away from home, we couldnt have been happier. Kids loved the smoothies too. Staff were friendly. A...really lovely place we hope to visit again when in the area!!More

Excellent

Me and my friend went to New Ross for the day, went to Ann McDonald’s for lunch, the food was great there was a great selection on the menu and it was very reasonably priced and the staff were very nice and helpful. Would highly...recommend!More

Poor food quality

Went for lunch with family ordered warm chicken salad it arrived with big lumps of deep fried bread rolls which I was told was croutons. The bacon was cheap and there was bottled sweetchilli sauce poured all over salad. The lady in charge was very...loud while she was helpful she was really mean to her staff it meant we felt very uncomfortable. It is very over priced better places in town with similar pricesMore

Absolutely fantastic

Absolutely fantastic Would highly recommend this place. Food was so fresh. All of us couldn't of been happier with the service and the cleanliness of the place! Great service and also very friendly staff and cater for all your specific needs!

Needs improvement

Visited this establishment following a day trip with family, based on the Tripadvisor rating. Staff were friendly but clearly more staff needed to cater properly. The food was fine, but not fantastic as many reviews would lead us to believe. Our kids enjoyed their pizzas...though. The biggest issue however was the cleanliness. The toilet (there is just one) was not clear, and the toilet brush was absolutely caked in dirt from usage. There were also a lot of flies in the restaurant, and the floor in the cafe was dirty (probably from a long day of usage). Also, my wife's wine arrived in a dirty cup.More

Great for celiacs!

Passing through New Ross we decided to go for a bite and were pleasantly surprised when we ended up in Ann McDonalds cafe. We got a friendly welcome, and they were taking all the proper procedures regarding the Covid-19 rules. I'm celiac and find it...hard to find small cafe's that I can eat in, but pretty much everything on the menu was gluten-free! Not only that, it was delicious and freshly cooked! Would reccomend 10 out of 10 and will definitely be back to try out more of the menu.More

Fantastic service and top food

Myself and my wife and daughter Dined here this evening and we were not disappointed. The minute you walked in the door you were made feel very much at home and relaxed. The food was delicious and the attention to detail was excellent. The menu...has a wide variety of tasty foods and all dishes we ordered were perfectly cooked. If you like to spoil yourselves with dessert then get the chocolate fudge cake lol, it’s savage. I would highly recommend this eatery and it’s also fantastic value. Conor from malahide.More
