Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I'm a regular here and I love it. Being a hard core carnivore myself, I never imagined vegetarian or vegan food could be so delicious. If I had food like this every day I'd have no trouble becoming vegetarian. The food itself is delicious as I said, the presentation is beautiful, its great value for money and the staff make me feel special every time I go in there. I've recommended it to several people and they have all loved it.

Myself and my family recently visited "The Cracked Teapot" in New Ross. We were staying nearby for a few days and were delighted to find a café that offered both vegan and gluten free food, still no easy feat at the best of times in Ireland! Tina and all of the staff there made our visit such a pleasure with genuinely warm and caring service. The food was healthy, fresh and extremely tasty. We were very impressed, so much so that we visited the following two days also and tried out much of the menu which the staff happily adapted to our requirements. We couldn't have asked for better service or tastier food. I highly recommend a visit and hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

A wonderful eclectic mix of interior decor...a magnificent place to sit and read a book or paper or to chat with friends over coffee or lunch. The menu is diverse but not so extensive that you spend ages trying to decide what to have. The staff are attentive and friendly. Efficiency is good and the food is well cooked.

A visitor to New Ross looking for somewhere to have lunch, I happened to come across this little gem. Although I had initially ordered a quick coffee to be followed by soup and some toastie’s the wait for the quick coffee was irritatingly longer than I expected but possibly it may just have been the desire for a quick caffeine hit. When the soup and toasties did arrive I have to say that any residing irritations resolved. Beautiful soup with natural organic flavours and toasties with ample melting cheese on sourdough. Well worth a re-visit.

Tina and her team agreed to prepare us a birthday picnic for my Dad. We were lucky with the weather but the fantastic thrill of opening all those lids and finding such tasty and imaginative food was the thrill of the day. Brilliant!

We stopped off in New Ross to break a long car journey and it was only luck that we found a parking spot opposite the Cracked Teapot. We decided to grab a quick bit to eat there and took a table outside (although it was a bit chilly). Lots of veggie and vegan options and daily specials too. I had the Tuscan Bean Soup and it was really tasty. My wife had the Pizza Toasty - which was ciabatta with loads of toppings and different salads as garnish. Apparently it was as good as my soup. Two snacks with tea was 20 euro, which seems reasonable. Very good food and I would recommend it if you find yourself in New Ross

A busy cafe - didn’t realise until we went in that it was vegetarian only. To be honest we didn’t miss the meat one bit- the food was absolutely delicious and the service was good. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in New Ross

The Cracked Teapot is a lovely little cafe located in historic New Ross just steps away from historic sites and riverside walks. The decor includes plants and antique dishes and houseware. Service is provided by a very friendly and helpful staff, especially Mary, who made us feel at home. A must stop if you are in this area.

Charming cafe in County Wexford, and one of the best meals we had during our trip. Portions were generous and the food well balanced and hearty, but they also serve pie and cake for those seeking something sweet. Would recommend for anyone seeking gluten free options as they make their own gf bread. Staff were kind and attentive. Definitely worth the visit.

My first visit to this little gem today. Vegetarian & Vegan home baked food at its best. I had the quiche which was lovely in its own right beautiful pastry base but it’s all the accompanying salad bits that make it amazing. The coleslaw was nicest I’ve ever tasted and the salad had cauliflower nuts pasta feta potatoes all delicious. Top marks for coffee too. Soup & sourdough sambo delicious also. Wish I could find a place like this nearer to home I may visit New Ross soon . Nicest lunch I’ve had in a very long time and I’m neither Vegan or vegetarian.

Visited New Ross and walked the town looking for somewhere to have lunch. This cafe looked nice so we decided to have lunch here now knowing it was vegetarian. Nice menu choice. Reasonably priced - service could be a bit quicker. Only gripe - where we sat you could see the toilet where the door was open all the time a little off putting.

Very good food. Stopped by for lunch on a long drive around the Irish coast. The salad was very tasty and nicely portioned. The interior was clean and pleasnantly decorated. Courteous and attentive service. A few more smiles from everyone will go a long way.

Delicious Halloumi Ciabatta and side salad. Fresh, tasty scone with jam and cream. Accompanied by a couple of cappuccinos. Friendly, attentive service. The cracked teapot has a pleasant ambience – a relaxing place to visit. And the toilets were spotless. Strongly recommended.
