Tea and scones or chocolate. Great place for an afternoon stop. Sit and watch the people walk by. Fun for all!

I love popping into Gallways, its a hidden gem in Waterford but not hard to find. The porridge / sambos / coffee and hot chocolate are out of this world, staff would put you in a good mood aswell : )

I recently has time on my hands waiting for an office to open. I also needed to have some lunch. I spotted Gallweys on Henrietta Street. Such a warm welcome when I opened the door, I knew it was going to be a lovely experience. I knew what I wanted, it was no problem to the very helpful young girl... More

Simple really, this is the nicest coffee I ever had. Not sure what blend/make it was and I'm sorry I didn't ask.

While walking around Waterford on a calm, overcast afternoon we stopped in for a quick lunch. The soup we had paired with the bread and coffee were fantastic. If you're looking to support some local business and you're on a budget, this place is for you. The interior is beautiful and they have wifi for you too.

My family are notoriously picky about their coffee and so the fact that they love Gallwey's is a recommendation in itself. I've been out of action with health issues but I finally got to go and see what the fuss was all about. I'm not a coffee drinker but as I said I've been assured that their coffee is great.... More

As the title says best coffee in Waterford but also great wraps, salads and paninis, not to mention mouth watering cakes. Friendly service and great prices.

Just around the corner from the Viking Triangle, Waterford Crystal, Christ Church Cathedral etc. Soups, sandwiches, paninis - and a nice touch, a little chocolate sea-horse with every coffee or tea.

This is a lovely little trendy cafe. I passed by a good few times over if years but never really had time to go in and try their food. Anyway, I'm glad I did. I had a delicious Parma ham salad. It was really tasty. Worth trying. The staff were really efficient and friendly. The waitress was pleasant and polite.... More
