Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Place looked cozy. Food was grand. Price was ok. But caught a glimpse of the kitchen as we were leaving and it was absolutely crawling with dirt, and not just from service. It was disgustingly dirty. Regret eating there after seeing the state of the...kitchenMore

4 o clock and they run out of items not just 1 item on the menu. Fish pie was rank.. Like hot milk over fish veg were cold. Place is like a conveyer belt throwing out any slop to get people in and out as...quick as they can... Not professional to see staff actually running..take more staff on if they are run off there feet. Had to ask for drink numerous times. Avoid..More

Nice, pleasant staff, but there being only four other people in the bar at just after 2PM on a Tuesday, should have warned me. I had fish and chips, with a small bowl of mushy peas, which were half mushy peas and half hot water....The chips were just about okay, whereas the fish, which I'm sure was frozen, due to it being extremely dry and tasteless and the coating was more like a pie crust than a crisp batter and looked as though it had been fried a second time. My wife had boiled bacon, which she described as being, "completely tasteless".More

We have stopped at O'Donnachas on numerous occasions on route back from Waterford. Have never been disappointed with the Service (staff so friendly and helpful) or the Food. Fish is always so fresh and they give generous helping of fresh vegetables or salad. Terrific value...for money.More

I find O’Donnachas Bar an exceptionally great establishment. I often visit on the way back from Waterford. A pub in a small town - you may expect a small food offering. This is not the case in O’Donnachas. They offer a vast set menu plus...house specials which change daily. There was a mixed meat pie available last Wednesday (Hunters Pie). It tasted stunning and cooked in a homemade sauce. The servings are very generous and have never been disappointed with the taste and quality of the food over the years. The staff are amazing and so helpful. Next time you visit, don’t leave without picking up one of their homemade brown cakes!More

We have been to O'Donnachas a few times now for lunch and evenings. The menu is not too long which is a good sign and is above average pub food at very reasonable prices. We try to go on a Tuesday evening when they have...Irish music. Plenty of parking and very friendly staff.More
