Visited on a mid-week night for some dinner and drinks. We sat outside and the atmosphere was great. The staff were very friendly and able to advise on dishes on the menu that could be amended to a vegetarian option if required. I am never disappointed when I visit Geoffs. The food is always hot and tasty and the portion sizes remain generous! - unlike many other café/café bars, - whereby they just keep getting smaller and smaller! I find the staff very attentive, and have found...them friendly. I always look forward to meeting frienda there, a nice atmosphere with a homely feel - and I just love their madras.. So tasty and complete with poppadom, rice with half and half option!.. The chips are the best served in Waterford and will continue to return as I have done for many years now! The place wouldnt be the same without it! You will never leave hungry! :)More

Went to geoffs to get an evening meal with friends , we arrived really looking forward to it. We got our meal but for some reason it be member of our group had to wait ten minutes after us to get hers. After our dinner...we didn’t even get asked what if we would like to see the dessert menu or if we wanted second drinks. Our empty glasses were taken in a hurry without even asking if we were ok for everything. As well as that there was hassle trying to split the bill even though it was only between three people. There was also a table beside us who were getting a great service and also they didn’t have to order food as we heard the group say that. All and all really disappointed in the evening. What an experience! The authentic bar feeling combined with the creative interior design as well as fantastic food and service made for a wonderful outing! I had the veggie bean burger which was one of the best veggie burgers Ive had in a while and...came with the famous shoelace fries. The rest of my party had the beef burger with brie, the chicken curry and the crab bruscetta, all of which was extraordinary. One of my party members is also autistic and the staff was friendly and attentive! Only complaint I have is that the veggie burger came with a smaller portion of fries for no apparent reason.More

Was back for our first meal out and ordered the veggie bean burger. Another friend had got the same thing & two others got the cajun chicken burger and fish goujons. In around the same price for our meals but for some reason the vegetarian...dishes come with a baby bowl of shoestring fries VS the gigantic bowls for other dishes. I remember this happened before but I thought it was a mistake so it off. This time I asked a waitress out of curiosity why there is such a stark difference between the tow. She couldn't tell me why ' I don't know '. She never checked in again or came back to me. Not good enough. Hopefully this was passed onto the chef. Doesn't make any sense to have sides offered with meals of the same price in completely different variations. I'm talking x3 times more. ScandalousMore

I really loved this place. A huge space with lots of different tables. They are super kind and the food is tasty. If I come back to Waterford, I'll came here for sure.

One of Waterfords best bars for fantastic food , ambience , great wine and the friendliest staff ever . Always busy but with a lovely buzz around in there . Loads of tables and quirky places to sit and chat .
