Popped in for a few drinks but was left waiting to be served for a while even though it wasn't busy at the bar, people who came ahead of me were served before I was. Heating out the back only covers 2 tables so if it's busy inside and the tables outside are taken it's a bit uncomfortable.

We found a hidden gem in Geoff's Bar. When you walk in its everything you imagined an Irish pub to be. Its a large place with plenty of tables and seating options. My wife had the chicken sandwich which she said was really good. No thin slices of packaged meat here this was a nicely carved piece of chicken on... More

Good atmosphere and decor. Nice large tables and couches. Prices were average. Food looked and smelled great, although we didn't eat at Geoff's but I would like to try. We asked but they didn't have straws or Teelings.

This pub has been in Waterford for years. Cental location in the town. Busy place especially at weekends. Always good atmosphere here. Dimly lit plenty of nooks and crannies. Good drinking spot good pint. Service good. If I had one critism the toilets could be a bit cleaner otherwise good pub in Waterford.

Decided to try after finding on Trip Advisor. We had a great server, funny, and an excellent meal. The special was cod on a bed of potatoes. The burgers were huge and a very large serving of fries. The fish and chips was plenty to eat. The interior of the place was set up so there were nooks and corners... More

We had to visits to Geoff's during our stay in Waterford. Once for lunch and once for a family gathering. Each visit did not disappoint. Good food, good drinks, good service. Great place for a true local pub experience.

I met an old friend for lunch in Geoffs recently and she highly recommends the place and visits often. For me I just think its needs a bit more modernising I found the pub to be very dark. The toilets need a bit of attention its always nice when you are eating out to visit a pristine bathroom. Apart from... More

I have frequented Geoffs on many occasions as I work locally. I have to say that it is a firm favourite. The menu is lovely ranging from lunches of crab on brown bread (amazing), salt and pepper squid to daily specials that always leave you feeling satisfied ! Even if you feel you don't want to .. order the shoestring... More

As soon as you enter this emporium you get a blast of nostalgia. Old panneling and furniture serves to create a special feeling of comfort and relaxing ambience. The (at times laid back ) staff offer courteous service and the food is of superior variety and quality. The facilities are somewhat antique, but clean, if poorly lit. There are numerous alcoves and... I think over the last few months or year geoffs has gotten less busy. Mainly because of the untrained, very casual staff wandering around as if they're customers. Geoffs is perfect for a couple of beers before town. But leave it at that! Food drink and atmosphere great, but staff not so much. Too cool for school kind of attitude... More
