I ALWAYS get terrible service. I often have to wait up to 25 minutes and food arrives cold or I have to chase staff for it. Then they try and brush it off on me with a "put up or shut up" tricks like it will take another 25 minutes to recook the whole dish from scratch. The pub is lovely... More

In the center of the city this old time pub offers atmosphere and good food.. Three of us went on a Friday evening which was very busy. Reservations are accepted. A delicious prawn curry was presented to my self. My colleagues had a lamb burger & fries and calamari. Lovely presentation and as equally tasty and plentiful.

Tipped by locals as "the best pub in Waterford", we had to try this place for Saturday dinner. It was a good choice. The pub is a maze of dark areas, with an eclectic selection of furniture and it has a pleasant bustle about it. A reasonable selection of beers and a well made G&T helped ease us in. The... More

What a spot! Excellent music on a Saturday night and plenty of space and seats for a couple or group, big or small to go and enjoy a few drinks. We went there last Saturday with some friends and, did not expect to stay so long but the music and atmosphere were so good there we just had to stay... More

We visit Geoff's every time we are in Waterford. The Food is excellent, Really cool atmosphere. They will split any adult dish for Kids @ 50% of the price. Open Crab Bruschetta is excellent with a lovely portion size and not smoulder in mayo.

Always love Geoffs for the chicken/chorizo dish - unreal flavour, just adore the sauce. Tea is always a great cup, love the atmosphere. Favourite place in Waterford by a mile.

Popped in for a few drinks but was left waiting to be served for a while even though it wasn't busy at the bar, people who came ahead of me were served before I was. Heating out the back only covers 2 tables so if it's busy inside and the tables outside are taken it's a bit uncomfortable.

We found a hidden gem in Geoff's Bar. When you walk in its everything you imagined an Irish pub to be. Its a large place with plenty of tables and seating options. My wife had the chicken sandwich which she said was really good. No thin slices of packaged meat here this was a nicely carved piece of chicken on... More

Good atmosphere and decor. Nice large tables and couches. Prices were average. Food looked and smelled great, although we didn't eat at Geoff's but I would like to try. We asked but they didn't have straws or Teelings.

This pub has been in Waterford for years. Cental location in the town. Busy place especially at weekends. Always good atmosphere here. Dimly lit plenty of nooks and crannies. Good drinking spot good pint. Service good. If I had one critism the toilets could be a bit cleaner otherwise good pub in Waterford.
