Grady's Yard is one of Waterford's best kept secrets, yet situated in the heart of the city. It boasts an incredible aesthetic, the bar created from a shipping container and much of the furniture and fittings have been salvaged or repurposed for a unique, comfortable and intimate setting. There's 20 taps of craft beer alongside a massive selection of wine, gin, whiskey and other premium spirits. The Container Kitchen serves food Thurs, Fri, Sat & Sun from 3pm to 9pm offering a great selection of light bites, gourmet burgers and stone baked pizzas. Great coffee served from our Coffee Dock with rotating blends from some of our favourite local roasteries.

Disappointed.

The website and google both say that this restaurant is open and allowed me to book a slot. When I arrived it was closed. Now we’re in Waterford on a busy Friday night with no where for dinner. Disgusted.

Burger , Wangs and Fries. Great food cooked nicely presented very well, fresh brioche, spicy wangs (chicken wings). Very enjoyable will 100% return

Worth a visit

Being from Wexford, a visit here was paramount on a recent trip to Waterford. An eclectic and fun venue. Well spaced out for Covid distancing. Ordering done through an app and promptly served. Really cool idea. Food is made by a company called “Phat Cow”...- very tasty Homemade burgers and chicken wings. Fantastic craft beer selection. Only negative was sitting underneath a speaker and found the music a little overbearing but apart from that would definitely recommend a visit.More

Really impressed

Really impressed when we called in on Sunday evening. We had the nachos to share and two pizzas (goats cheese and pepperoni). Our barman / waiter was very friendly and came to check on us numerous times. The beer, music and atmosphere will mean we...will most definitely be back.More

Best veggie nachos in ireland

Went to gradys yard after film in odeon. Myself and sisters thought the food was excellent. We had veggie nachos veggie burger and pizza. Everything was perfect. Staff super super helpful. 10/10

So Impressed!

Wow! A little gem I didn't know existed till today, the food is fab, staff are really friendly and the atmosphere is something I hope this place never looses, will definitely be back.

Top Class

Walked in. Bar man was a gentleman. Accommodating. Served us. Recommended food and we got it to our delight. The place is absolutely perfect. Cannot dwell on the bar man enough looked after us so well. Reasonably priced also. I would return here for sure....Cannot stress enough about the service. Niceness goes so far, gentleman he was. And that’s coming from a man who was with his partner. 10/10. Credit when it’s due. Even the toilets were exceptional.More

Waterford needed this!

Grady’s Yard is becoming my favourite place to visit. Really relaxed atmosphere with plenty of space whether you’re a group or a couple. Great staff, food and drinks. Everytime I go in, I sample a different ale and the staff are more than accommodating in...letting you sample a few to pick your preferred drink. Try the chicken wings!More
