Arrived late for a late night drink, some of the clientele which made us a bit uncomfortable. Moved out to the foyer to finish our drink before leaving.

Had one day and night in Waterford and went to a couple of pubs. Timbertoes was far and away the most Irish of them all. In fact, there is a James Joyce Society recognition plaque at the bar stating such. The beer was cold and the specials were great. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Spent some time... Service was quick and friendly. Reasonable prices. Menu had more options than most pubs and bars. Many tables available in adjoining room for additional seating. Connected to Treacys Hotel so at times can be crowded with tour groups

Came here because of the reviews and disappointed. We ended up only having an appetizer. The fish cakes were pre-fab and tasted like plastic. Very disappointed😕

Dropped in for a quick meal and ordered the chicken curry. Fabulous! Large serving with a mound of rice. Excellent spicing, great balance between vegetables and meat, creamy sauce with a lovely bite to it. One of the best I have ever had!

We had an hour to kill between buses in Waterford, and thought we would grab a pint and a toastie for lunch. We stopped into this pub for a quick bite to eat before heading over to The Forum to hear a band play. Nice, casual pub with a decent menu. I had heard about the high-quality mussels in the Waterford area and they even have a mussel festival in August each year. They were heavenly! The best mussels of my life!... More
