We ate here as a party of 4 celebrating a birthday. The restaurant kindly recognised this in a very special way. This was the first time we had tasted the new market menu. While it is more expense than the previous one the dishes are...better combining in some cases two different starters. I had the pork belly and scallops and it really so very good. The most of our party opted for the fish option and the sole was perfectly cooked in the most beautiful sauce. Similarly the monkfish dish was also seriously good. All but one opted for the chocolate fondant which was exactly what my doctor didn’t want me to eat My wife went for her favourite the crème brulee which she says is the best she has had in any restaurant. Staff were excellent slick and unobtrusive and able to give good advise on the wine selection. A great birthday celebration made special by the La Boheme team.More

What a wonderful experience. My wife and I decided to treat ourselves to a quite night out after the madness of Christmas and we were not disappointed. From the moment you enter the restaurant you can tell you are somewhere special, the soft music coupled...with the architecture makes for an idyllic setting. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful while presenting the menu and were not over bearing once service began. The food of course was the highlight of the night and we savored every bite, everything was cooked and presented perfectly. Very enjoyable evening well done to the team at La Boheme.More

I went to this fantastic restaurant for dinner with my family. I had the best dinner ever. I had sourdough bread with butter which was so nice. To start, I had the mille feuille of fresh Irish goats cheese which was delicious! I then had...an 8oz filet of Irish beef which was so tender and juicy. To finish, I had the classic crème brûlée which was delicious. The food was so good and the service was also very good. I really enjoyed my experience and I will definitely come back again! I really recommend this restaurant to everyone because the food and service is excellent.More

A group of four had dinner at this restaurant at the end of October. You go down a set of steps from the street to access the restaurant. It was a very nice room with discreet but attentive service. The food and wine were excellent...with a very interesting menu and each item presented to perfection. In all, it was a very good experience and reasonable value for money.More

A few friends and I visited here in August when down in Waterford. I can't say good enough about here. Everything from the decor to the menu really pulled me in. While they were busy during lunchtime, they had no problems finding us a seat....All together, a great experience and we have to come back. Sooner rather than later!More

French restaurant with a really interesting menu and a fabulous wine list. Each mouthful of my meal was a heavenly experience. All was prepared spot on. There was also a well chosen and reasonably priced wine list. The next time I go to Ireland I...will return here.More

We went here with friends who had come down from Dublin. Our meal was so good. As always the quality of the produce was excellent and the chef did a super job creating some stunning dishes from local produce. Interestingly the menu stated the size...of the steaks, I have been influenced by numerous visits to the USA on steak portion size and to be honest an 8oz steak doesn’t do it for me and I tend to go for something different. I enquired if it is possible to get a larger cut and this was not problem the restaurant was happy to cut to whatever size I wanted. So I was very happy camper having a leaner steak that was succulent and very tasty. Desserts were as always very very good. Front of house did a great job on advising on wine selection and were very slick and unobtrusive. A very enjoyable evening.More
