Visited Waterford to enjoy the Waterford walls festival and we got so much more! We had lunch in Bodega and it was delicious. Cosy atmosphere great service and delicious food. What more is needed!...also lovely beer.

Fantastic cooking again in bodega. Sole on the bone is easy to ruin. Best atmosphere in waterford hands down complimented by great cooking and ingredients. Even the cocktails are exceptional. No bacardi here in your mojito!

Great food in comfortable buzzing surroundings. Very efficient and friendly staff. Always a good crowd there even on quiet nights elsewhere. Hard to beat.

Excellent food. A firm local favourite. Good early bird options and a fabulous wine menu. I go here especially ever Christmas as a treat with friends.

Second time round (this time for dinner before a concert, first time for lunch) and we weren’t disappointed. Good food and friendly service. Look forward to next visit. Easy to book on line, and as it was Saturday evening would recommend you do.

I came here to celebrate my engagement with friends - we left highly disappointed. The waitress was rude, the order taken was wrong, the toilets were not clean and there were no toilet paper, the dishes arrived at all different times...I could go on forever....More

Yes, the toilet is on the ground floor so there should be no problems. Sorry about my delay in replying to you but I was out of the country and away from my PC.

Description
In the heart of Waterford City is a restaurant that champions the local food experience. Vaguely Spanish in decor with a funky eclectic mix of food and ambiance that may well be described as Mediterranean. Most definitely, not a conventional Irish restaurant experience. Critics and regulars alike acknowledge this place is fun and different. With early bird menus from €23, this is an affordable treat in a relaxed atmosphere. But it's worth persevering according to the critics:" With its warm Mediterranean colour, this place would bring the sun out on the darkest of days" Georgina Campbell "Much loved menu that hits all the right buttons" The Irish Times"It's a dream vision of owners - Cormac & Donagh - who stamp their left field imprimatur on the excellent food & the fine drinks that make folk flock here in their droves" John & Sally McKenna"Bodega! Gives the taste of the med, and also the vigour & joie de vivre of the med" Bridgestone Guide
