Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We booked a table for 2pm and received a warm welcome from the staff. It was an experience of the heart and mind as it brought us back in time with a menu selection of Irelands best food. I had prawn cocktail with the most...delicious brown bread I ever tasted and enjoyed. My three friends all went with the outstanding garlic mushrooms which came with fresh coleslaw salad. For the main event we all went for ‘The Tipperary Inn Special 12oz Steak’. We all agree it was incredible, delicious and cooked to perfection, all four of us asked for it to be cooked in different ways and all cooked as requested. Very impressed and compliments to the chefs. To conclude the Guinness was magic and kept us there for the afternoon. Staff were so friendly, charming, helpful and nothing was a bother. We all look forward to our next visit to the Tipperary Inn. It was a gastronomical experience that when we eventually left all agree that best food, incredible value and a wonderful place to relax and catch up with friends. Thanks to the owner’s of The Tipperary Inn. Timothy SchinnickMore

From pre checkin emails to the actual checkin, the owner, staff and Josie their dog made Raider (my service dog) and I feel as though we were the only guests. The information about local sites and restaurants was spot in as to what I should...expect in both service and menu. The only downside is my stay was too short. Raider and I will return. ArnMore

Found ourselves here on route to Dublin from Kerry. Services area in moneygall was extremely busy so out the road we arrived at the Tipperary Inn. Fantastic service and fantastic food. Absolutely looked after by Kelvin and Liz. Extremely friendly and great chat and craic....Food was very hot and tasty. Well worth the few minutes spin from moneygall exit off M7. Nice and relaxed and away from the madness of the services area. Will definitely returnMore

We stopped here for some quick lunch on our trip from Kerry to Dublin. Lovely toasted sandwiches with real, old fashioned coleslaw! Kids menu offered a half potion of any of the adult lunches which was great! Definite old school pub and lovely with it.

Stopped off here on the way home from a match in Dublin, staff were really friendly and helpful some of the kids wanted to order from the adults menu, so we ordered half portions which were huge, overall the food was excellent and I couldn’t...say enough good things about this place, the waitress told me when I was leaving that there specialty is steak so we will definitely be back.More

Wow what a great place this is. The food is great, but more than that, the owners, John & Liz, and staff, Miriam, and the cook are fabulous, accommodating people. If in the area, or not, take the time to go in for a pint....You will be so pleased you did.More

The interior is old fashioned and quirky but the food is superb. We had 3 Steak and a Roast Beef meals for 3 adults and 1 child. The steak was done as requested, generous portions and the roast beef was succulent. Definitely recommend it for...a meal, with very friendly staff and clientele.More
