I was in lolaz with my sister last night and we were absolutely shocked to see LARGE groups of way more than 6 people together, 10,15, 20. Can you tell me that they are from one household? This type of behaviour being allowed encourages large...bookings to gather and drink. People standing drunk talking to each other, no system of controlling this, although it isn’t down to the poor staff who are being made work in this awful condition. Won’t be going back to somewhere that clearly doesn’t follow public health guild line. Disgrace.More

Had an enjoyable evening in Lolas (Part of the Embassy), nightclub turned into a restaurant last Friday. Only a pizza menu available but it was really good. All Covid Restrictions in place. Staff super friendly and well trained. Really good atmosphere for all age groups...to enjoy. Music played by DJ. Fair play to management for thinking outside the box during challenging times and I wish them the best. Would recommend the visit.More

Excellent steakhouse! Helpful staff; fair wine list; good portions; delicious complimentary bread and spread board. Veg not on a par with the beef but still tasty.

Myself and my boyfriend ate at the Embassy Steak house on the recommendation of our hotel and we were extremely satisfied. The menu offers a nice selection of dishes and is quite good value. The staff are all very welcoming, which sets a pleasant atmosphere...in the restaurant. If we ever travel to Sligo again, this would be our first choice for dinner!More

Really enjoyed my dinner, nice warm feeling about the place. Personnel is professional and smiling. Nice little details like adding a slice of orange in the water and serving a complimentary selections of breads and dips. Recommended.

Booked last minute for 2 adults and 3 small kids at 6pm last Friday. Looked like we were the first diners when we were met inside the door by a young guy behind the bar. He asked if we had a reservation and once confirmed...he began to show us to the table before asking us to wait a minute while he went back behind the bar and started to fill a jug of water which he placed on our table as we were being seated. Bit of a strange start and would have been good to have been seated first. The restaurant was nicely laid out and comfortable and had a high quality feel to the furnishings and decor. The staff were efficient and tolerant of the young family which includes us having to rock our cranky baby in his buggy. The food was really good. We had the chicken wings and goats cheese to start. The wings were meaty and fell off the bone. Blue cheese dip was nice too. We ordered fillet steak for mains and it was good quality, cooked perfectly and tasted really great. The kids had their usual breaded chicken and chips which tasted good and they enjoyed. The restaurant gradually filled over the course of the hour. Not sure that all the tables were properly 2m distanced by time we were leaving. Overall we enjoyed a good meal and would come again.More

We enjoyed a lovely dinner here as a large group. Great options for the kids and a vegetarian, there was something to suit everyone. The food was good and served promptly. The staff were so attentive and put everyone at ease considering the difficulties and...extra pressure due to COVID 19. We would definitely return. The only negative was that the desert was a bit dry and they had run out of ice-cream which disappointed the kids otherwise I would have gave this a 5*More

We booked for family dinner first outing since covid. Prawns to start was totally covered in a red sauce which masked any taste. Slight smell and I didn't finish, thought it was just me so I let it slide. Another member had luke warm very...thick soup and didn't enjoy. For mains we ordered 3 steaks which were bland and not warm, selection of chips and vegetables were not at all nice or freshly made. Waitress was nice but rushed off her feet. I had been told it was not great but didn't think it could possibly be so bad. Never ever againMore

I'm not sure but would doubt it. The restaurant is part of a Bar complex so I doubt if they'd let you bring your own. Probably best to ring.
