Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Honestly I cannot rate this place enough! This was our first Steakhouse visit in Ireland after moving here from England a few weeks ago. The food was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection. The staff were amazing from start to end. A nice warm welcome and...great service throughout. The prices are very good. It was great value for money! The portions were unbelievable. The atmosphere is really good. We will definitely be back for another visit. Thank you for a great service and great food.More

Had a great meal here on a chilly Sunday evening. Warm welcome just before the restaurant opened at 5/30. Chicken wings, chilli prawns, “posh” fish and chips, burger, Cajun chicken, sticky toffee pudding-all delicious. Complimentary breads and dips were a welcome addition to us hungry...customers 😁 Friendly and efficient service- good value for money considering the quality, Staff and surroundings Keep up the good work! Had a beautiful meal here last night and the whole experience was nothing short of amazing. The staff were extremely friendly and we were well looked after throughout our meal. I had the blackened Cajun chicken which was to die for and my partner had...the surf and turf special which looked absolutely amazing and obviously was as he left the plate empty. I tasted the steak which was melt in your mouth good and was almost disappointed I didn't order a steak. Would highly recommend this venue for a meal.More

The food was amazing! The set menu was delicious and...excellent value for money. €28 for 3 courses. Will definitely be back next time we are visiting sligo.More

We visited the Embassy Steak House having read positive reviews. We were not disappointed. The staff were excellent and couldn’t have been more helpful while not being too intrusive. We were particularly happy with their Covid protocols. If you want a completely stress free place...to eat in Sligo then this is the place. We watched with interest how each table and chair was sanitised after each use by extremely diligent staff members. 10 out of 10 for Covid safety! The food was above average and met or exceeded expectation in all cases. I will go back for the Thai chicken wings alone! In their favour the staff were as good as I have seen anywhere. I listened as time and time again their answer to any customer’s request was “no problem!” What could they improve? The structure of the menu was not straightforward and the specials were somewhat expensive. We would be happy to go back again.More

I was in lolaz with my sister last night and we were absolutely shocked to see LARGE groups of way more than 6 people together, 10,15, 20. Can you tell me that they are from one household? This type of behaviour being allowed encourages large...bookings to gather and drink. People standing drunk talking to each other, no system of controlling this, although it isn’t down to the poor staff who are being made work in this awful condition. Won’t be going back to somewhere that clearly doesn’t follow public health guild line. Disgrace.More

Had an enjoyable evening in Lolas (Part of the Embassy), nightclub turned into a restaurant last Friday. Only a pizza menu available but it was really good. All Covid Restrictions in place. Staff super friendly and well trained. Really good atmosphere for all age groups...to enjoy. Music played by DJ. Fair play to management for thinking outside the box during challenging times and I wish them the best. Would recommend the visit.More

I'm not sure but would doubt it. The restaurant is part of a Bar complex so I doubt if they'd let you bring your own. Probably best to ring.
