Booked last minute for 2 adults and 3 small kids at 6pm last Friday. Looked like we were the first diners when we were met inside the door by a young guy behind the bar. He asked if we had a reservation and once confirmed he began to show us to the table before asking us to wait a minute while he went back behind the bar and started to fill a jug of water which he placed on our table as we were being seated. Bit of a strange start and would have been good to have been seated first. The restaurant was nicely laid out and comfortable and had a high quality feel to the furnishings and decor. The staff were efficient and tolerant of the young family which includes us having to rock our cranky baby in his buggy. The food was really good. We had the chicken wings and goats cheese to start. The wings were meaty and fell off the bone. Blue cheese dip was nice too. We ordered fillet steak for mains and it was good quality, cooked perfectly and tasted really great. The kids had their usual breaded chicken and chips which tasted good and they enjoyed. The restaurant gradually filled over the course of the hour. Not sure that all the tables were properly 2m distanced by time we were leaving. Overall we enjoyed a good meal and would come again.

Visited this place recently, on entering the staff were very helpful in finding a table and presented us with a very comprehensive menu, from steak , crab, smoked salmon and many more. The waitress was pleasant and took our orders, which arrived quickly and was extremely tasty. I would thoroughly recommend this place to eat. Must try the steak bar in the evening.

Had a great meal here on a chilly Sunday evening. Warm welcome just before the restaurant opened at 5/30. Chicken wings, chilli prawns, “posh” fish and chips, burger, Cajun chicken, sticky toffee pudding-all delicious. Complimentary breads and dips were a welcome addition to us hungry customers 😁 Friendly and efficient service- good value for money considering the quality, Staff and surroundings Keep up the good work! My boyfriend & I attended the embassy steakhouse for an evening meal tonight. We arrived for our pre-booked table at 8.30, weren’t seated until after 9 & didn’t receive our first course until almost 10pm. It was almost half an hour after we had finished before we could get someone’s attention to even receive the bill, as the only poor waitress that was working that night was run off her feet trying to cater for a full restaurant and bus all of her own tables. By no means am I criticising the waitress, as her hands were completely tied & she genuinely was a lovely girl. Management should be ashamed of themselves, taking bookings for a full restaurant with only one server on. Despite this, the waitress did her best & we admire her for her efforts. Food was adequate when it eventually got out to us, and for us the under staffing of the restaurant was by far the biggest detractor. We hope this issue is sorted in future, and the poor girl that was essentially alone gets a pay rise.

We booked for family dinner first outing since covid. Prawns to start was totally covered in a red sauce which masked any taste. Slight smell and I didn't finish, thought it was just me so I let it slide. Another member had luke warm very thick soup and didn't enjoy. For mains we ordered 3 steaks which were bland and not warm, selection of chips and vegetables were not at all nice or freshly made. Waitress was nice but rushed off her feet. I had been told it was not great but didn't think it could possibly be so bad. Never ever again

Initial appearance was good, welcomed with friendly faces. We got our drinks and made our order with no problem, however, upon notifying the waitress about an allergy we were shocked to be given off to for not letting her know sooner, despite just ordering and the fact that the menu itself does not have a list of allergens. The service after that was unpleasant. The onion soup starter was a surprise, with the cheese toastie being a slice of baguette being submerged in the soup under a layer of cheese. The soup itself was tasty, apart from the soggy bread. The vegetable soup was extremely salty, this defect could have been overlooked had they not sprinkled the butter itself with salt. The sides were large and very tasty, would recommend. Overall some changes should be considered.

Bread nibbles very good.Starter mediocre .Ribeye steak on the tough side sitting on a few soggy cold chips .mushroom almost non existent minute portion of red onions with almost raw green beans .Plate unheated as was entire foodPartner received about 6 slices of paper thin roast lamb on cold mashed potato .Accompanying selection of vegetable quite good .Dessert no problem .Very few diners .We wiil not be returning to the Embassy Steakhouse.

Went for “Valentines meal” on 13th February 2020. We caught the early bird menu. The food was lovely and the portions were enough that we left feeling full and satisfied but not stuffed (and we are big eaters). It was just right. The staff were really lovely and very accommodating, particularly Reichelle, who simply could not have done enough to ensure we had a pleasant evening. The location was great - right in the town centre with parking outside; the atmosphere was lovely and the facilities were very good and immaculately clean; the food was very good; and the staff were excellent. I would go back without hesitation.

This steakhouse offers fine steaks and other delicious dishes. The staff is welcoming, friendly and professional. One downside during our dinner was an extremely loud local group which the staff could not (or would not) handle nor ask to be a little quieter. Other than that, we had a fabulous dinner.

My husband and I are following Keto diet plan and the resturant were super accommodating. We felt our requests were no hassle and were taken with a smile and the food was served as ordered. The food was amazing! The set menu was delicious and excellent value for money. €28 for 3 courses. Will definitely be back next time we are visiting sligo.

Had a beautiful meal here last night and the whole experience was nothing short of amazing. The staff were extremely friendly and we were well looked after throughout our meal. I had the blackened Cajun chicken which was to die for and my partner had the surf and turf special which looked absolutely amazing and obviously was as he left the plate empty. I tasted the steak which was melt in your mouth good and was almost disappointed I didn't order a steak. Would highly recommend this venue for a meal.

Everything was amazing from start to finish. Food was soo good(we tried lots of different dishes and starters) I honestly couldn't find an issue with anything if I tried to....great portion sizes also. The staff were amazing, some of the best watitresses I have come by and I worked in the industry for 15+ years. One of us was gluten free and they had no problem in accommodating us as well as bringing out some complimentary gluten free bread + sides so they didn't feel left out. We felt very welcomed and very well looked after. It really mad our stay in Sligo and will be definitely back again. They really went above and beyond and I wish I could rate the place higher. Thank you for a great time.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner here as a large group. Great options for the kids and a vegetarian, there was something to suit everyone. The food was good and served promptly. The staff were so attentive and put everyone at ease considering the difficulties and extra pressure due to COVID 19. We would definitely return. The only negative was that the desert was a bit dry and they had run out of ice-cream which disappointed the kids otherwise I would have gave this a 5*
