Just got 3 ice creams, two regular and one small and was charged 13€, I think I was overcharged. I would not care about the price as the icecream was delicious and cannot say a bad thing about the icecream. However, for 13€ I would...have expected a decent portion for two scoops in regular tub. The portion was tiny which I Am very disappointed in.More

Delicious icecream. We were lucky enough to visit Rome last year and obviously enjoyed the top class icecream. Fabios would not be out of place there! Delicious icecream and would definitely recommend.

We have just spent 4 days in Rome. Fabios Sligo is still the best!!! Its what we look forward to every weekend!!!

We visited on a hot July day, we have been before, but not in a while....I don't know why we don't go more often. We ordered a medium cone with two scoops to share; we chose Eldeflower and Black Forest Pavlova. They were both delicious;...lovely flavours and not too sweet. It's a tiny shop, but full of character. Highly recommend this place. It's a treat.More

My wife, my sister in law and our baby daughter went to Sligo for the day to visit family and after a nice lunch and a walk around the town we visited Fabio's for ice cream, or should I say Gelato, as there is a...big difference in how it's made and that comes through in the quality. It was excellent and the service from Marta was first class. They offer a range of different flavours of gelato and also sorbet and between the four of us I think we tried most of them. They also offer lots of gluten free products etc. and offer allergy advice on all their products. A must visit next time you are in Sligo. We will definitely be back.More

Fabio has been open in Sligo for many years now and the quality of his service has never been anything less than stellar. I lived in Italy myself for nearly 5 years. I’m familiar with fabulous gelato and having it on my doorstep with Fabio...offering up such amazing flavours is amazing. There is nothing on offer here you won’t be happy with. All of the gelato is hand made on site. Fabio offers dairy free sorbet also which is just as good as the gelato. The raspberry and lime sorbet is absolutely insane. Personally my favourites are anything hazelnut. Fabio also offers kinder bueno and Nutella gelato which is absolutely delicious. My children love the chocolate and the vanilla gelato. You won’t get a better tasting vanilla anywhere. I guarantee it. Haagen Dazs who? The cherries and cream is also delicious. Cream based gelato with whole sour cherries and sour cherry syrup marbled throughout. Simply delicious. Recently Fabio has a “lumberjack” flavour on offer which was a cream based gelato with maple gelato marbled through topped with caramelised walnuts. Again. Amazing. This man can do no wrong! And if you want a coffee? They have that too! Fair trade Italian coffee. Matter of fact put your gelato in your coffee and make it an affogato. Amazing!More

Brilliant genuine gelato, all ingredients are natural and the ice cream is produced on site regualry. Have a great selection of fat and dairy free options as well as regular monthly specials. Fabio pioneers lots of new unusual flavours yet always succeeds!
