Last night, I enjoyed the most fabulous surprise 40th birthday meal at Eala Bhan. While this was already one of my favourite restaurants, last night's meal was exceptional and the service was first class. We were made to feel so welcome and my birthday message...plate was the icing on the cake of a perfect evening. We will be back for our next special event! Thank you so much to the team.More

We had an excellent meal yesterday evening. Food was imaginative, interior elegant and the staff attentive. Really liked the Seamus Heaney table and the lines from 'Digging'.

A must if visiting sligo, my partner has a wheat allergy and staff were very accommodating and friendly, food was fantastic, lovely river view and decor was modern and fresh. Next time I'm back in Sligo, I will definitely be back.

Excellent restaurant. I was looking for a good place for my husband's birthday dinner. Luckily got a last minute reservation. I additionally called the restaurant if they can arrange a brownie after dinner to celebrate his birthday and charge on my account. The ambience was...beautiful and got served with complimentary bread and amazing parsnip soup. Ordered fish for main course. The restaurant served brownie and icecream complimentary with happy birthday written on the tray and also sang the song for my husband. It was a perfect dinner. Restaurant staff made the birthday dinner superb! Amazing staff and amazing chef. If you are in sligo, and not eating here, you are missing a big part of Sligo. Must must eat here. Big Thanks to the staff and 3 cheers for the chef. Overall 10 starsMore

We had an absolutely beautiful meal from start to finish. It really was a fine dining experience. It is up there with some of the best meals that I have eaten. So much of the ingredients are locally sourced and it was great to see...this explained on the menu. The staff were really excellent and knowledgable. A must if you are visiting Sligo.More

First time eating here in quite a while and it definitely lived up to past experiences! The menu is just gorgeous, it was so hard to choose and I have to say that every plate that passed us looked amazing. I had the taste of...the sea starter and I could just rave about how beautifully cooked everything was. My other half had the pudding lasagne, which is just to die for. Floor staff were attentive even though the restaurant was busy for a midweek night and the food was brought out so promptly, we were so impressed. Our mains were as delicious as the starters-I need the recipe for that seafood risotto-and we finished off with dessert and coffee. Wonderful meal, definitely won’t leave it as long again. Thanks very much!More

My family and I had a very enjoyable lunch there on Sunday. It was the first time our parents had been out since Covid so we were glad we had choosen somewhere nice to bring them. All of us enjoyed our meal and I especially...enjoyed the chocolate tart! We have been to Eala Bhan a number of times and it has always been good. The lunch was reasonable priced too and hope to have lunch there again soon.More
