From the food to the decor, I loved it. We went for the early bird menu as the normal menu is a bit too pricey for us, but I have no doubt that the dishes on the main menu are worth the price, because the...food was delicious. I had the Goats Cheese Fritters and Chicken Supreme and couldn't fault it. The atmosphere of the restaurant is so relaxing and enjoyable as well. I loved the idea of the poetry on the wallsMore

Thank you to all the team at Eala Bhán. We were a party of nineteen, and everyone had the most wonderful dining experience last Saturday (15th October). I was organising the event and was very conscious everyone would have a lovely night. The moment I...walked through the door, Claudine was there to welcome us and I instantly relaxed. Both Claudine and the teams' professionalism, kindness and dedication, ensured we had the most wonderful time. The food was as exquisite as the service. Presentation and taste were 5star. Honestly guys whatever your formula is - do not change it- it works perfectly. Wishing you continued success, your passion is palpable and it shows in the food and service. Regards CMore

We had a most wonderful night here in Eala Bhan recently. The restaurant itself is beautifully located just over the very pretty pedestrian bridge in the center of Sligo. We were a large group so almost took over the restaurant. The food was both innovative...and delicious. The service was absolutely top notch. Our girl looked after us so well (difficult with a large boisterous group like us!) I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. I can’t wait to return .More

Seasonally appropriate and delicious menu with many locally sourced items. Positive energy, lovely and kind service efficiently executed. Passionate devotion to the Sligo food scene and beyond. We very much enjoyed our dining experience.

My husband and I visited lastnight for the 8 course tasting menu and we have not stopped talking about it all day. Every dish was amazing, we asked each other what our favourite was and we literally couldn’t choose. Usually when you have this many...courses, there might be something you don’t particularly like but not in this case. The food was incredible with beautiful presentation and the staff were fantastic. The owner, Anthony greeted us with a very warm welcome on arrival, and the waitress he handed us over to so was knowledgeable and friendly. We mentioned it was our wedding anniversary so they surprised us with a sweet treat which was a lovely gesture. All in all, this was an incredible experience and a must if you’re in Sligo. Highly recommendMore

Whimsical W.B. Yeats-themed decor was cosy and staff welcoming. Expectations were raised by the many awards displayed throughout the restaurant. Those expectations were met... and exceeded! Each beautifully plated dish accentuated and elevated each ingredient to its fullest in flavor and well-selected accompaniments (like the...red onion marmalade). Each bite was savored and experienced. The blue cheese ice cream is now a new obsession for me! We had the Trio of Duck, and the 10 oz Filet Steak. The steak was fork tender and lusciously juicy. The fact that everything is 100% Irish produced, allows for a continuity of quality and joy of the experience for visitors such as me. We've already recommended it to others who are planning trips to Ireland in the next year. Sligo is not to be missed. And Eala Bhan is as worthy a destination there as Ben Bulbin.More

What a wonderful meal we had. The service was impeccable, the food simply sublime, I had possibly the best starter ever in the Fish Bon bons, and the ambience was warm. Fantastic meal, can’t wait to return.

The restaurant is lovely inside, outside it looked like there was some work being done with some metal pieces sat inside the door corridor door but inside it was clean and airy. The food was good, prices are a bit high though for what you...get. Overall I would go back but only on a special occasion due to their prices.More

Our dinner at Eala Bhan was the best meal we had during a two-week stay in Ireland. The food was imaginative, well-prepared and beautifully presented. The flavors were wonderful. The service was first-rate. The goat cheese fritters and the supreme of chicken both were outstanding....My wife had the catch of the day (Hake, I believe) and enjoyed it. The price was higher than other places because of the quality, but it was worth every penny. We would return in a hearbeat.More

Beautiful restaurant with a very friendly staff. Lovely ambiance, but the price for a three course early bird meal was outlandish. Soup, Pork Belly and Chocolate mousse for €39.95. Now that is expensive or am I missing something?

I honestly don’t know I’m afraid. I’d doubt it though, they did have an extensive wine menu.
