We've had a wee Meetup in Ósta Cafe and Wine Bar, and the service as well as the food exceeded our expectations by far! Despite being only a small group, we were treated and served as kings - the lovely crew even created a special blackboard for better overview of the of vegan, organic foods to choose from for us,... This café is a nice stop for a coffee break. The coffee isn't great, but it's drinkable. The view is really good though, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It has a nice atmosphere too.

I popped in for a quick breakfast to this café beside the river. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I ordered a vegetarian breakfast and coffee which took quite a while. The café is cosy and has a great location, I can understand why it is so popular. The food was not good unfortunately. The potato bread was greasy as... More

went in for lunch and ordered pumkin and sheep's cheese tartlet with salad. Salad was good however the pumkin tartlet lacked any flavour . Very bland, no warming spices or herbs to lift it. service good.

This is my favourite cafe in Sligo. Great staff, amazing coffee, lovely herbal teas, and the best pancakes in the world! Right on the river, it's a great place to relax solo or with friends!

Stopped by on a quiet Sunday morning and enjoyed the good Irish breakfast and the nice location by the river. The scones were yummy, and my sandwich (I am not a breakfast person) was full of good cheese on excellent bread. I admired the baked goods but kept my self control but lost it later in the afternoon when we... More

I have been here a number of times (not by my own choosing). I have been sat at the bar seats and have observed the staff cleaning. I was absolutely appalled by the fact that the woman who was cleaning the glasses and mugs was only rinsing them out with no soap or disinfectant and with COLD water, I know... More

We were looking forward to visiting Osta last week having been impressed with our first visit some months ago. Several things left us feeling rather underwhelmed this time though :( 1. One toilet for all the patrons; not really what you'd like. 2. We ordered the vegetable sandwich which is supposed to come with soft goat's cheese. We were told... More

No wonder this is a popular spot with the locals. On one of those rare warm sunny days in Ireland with the sun streaming into the cafe, Osta's was especially busy. All of the outdoor tables were taken with sun-worshippers enjoying what Osta's had to offer. Definitely the place for coffee in Sligo.

The heart of Sligo - for a quick cup of excellent coffee and fresh homebaking, for a light lunch of the best of local produce, for 'small plates' and a glass of wine or for Sunday Brunch. Great warm atmosphere and a great place to meet people!
