Absolutely excellent experience from start to finish. Warm and friendly Staff made our party of 6 people feel so welcome. The food was phenomenal, from starters to main course to dessert. The standard was exceptionally high. Would highly recommend this restaurant. The best that Sligo...has to offer. 😊More

A groups of six of us were lucky enough to have a meal in this wonderful restaurant recently. Every step from booking to arriving and welcoming was easy , warm and friendly. The menu is adventurous, but yet sources it’s meats from local suppliers and...supports the local producers. We all sampled different starters and main courses. To say we were impressed is an understatement. The flavors, combination of foods were just superb. Every dish was uniquely different and it would be far to long winded to go into each one in detail but all six of us were just so delighted to get such wonderful food . Hats off to the chefs in the kitchen. You are doing a super job. We travelled from Wexford so it’s a long journey for a return trip but if you are in the Sligo area or visiting, this restaurant should go on your list.More

Visited this lovely restaurant with a party of 4 adults on a busy Saturday night. As we arrived we were welcomed by wonderful friendly staff and show to our table. You immediately sense a level of professionalism in everything you see and everything the staff...do. The restaurant was recommended to us by a local contact ( we were visiting for the weekend) and I understand why they made such a recommendation. All the dishes that 4 adults had over starter main and desert were wonderful in their presentation their inventiveness their taste. Discreet enquiries established that staff are long term having worked there for a number of years and the ethos of the team shines through the friendliness of the staff. Excellent value , wonderful food, lovely people. We are coming back. If you are in Sligo then please book a table and support this location we need places like this to be here for the long term. Good luck to all in the restaurantMore

To say that we had a first class experience in this restaurant is an understatement. It is an absolute gem. Tbh myself and my wife didn't know too much about it until we booked a meal in it this weekend as they only opened before...the lockdown and had to shut again. But my word, these guys know what they are doing. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, dinner was booked for 5 bells on a Saturday evening and there were a few tables full already. We were brought to a lovely table by our very friendly server and we were given our menus and asked if we wanted drinks. We opted for bottled beer. Then the free bread arrived. Was so fresh and full of flavour. Our server said that is is baked fresh every day and i belived her ! Was delicious !! Then our mains arrived.... I had gone for the pork belly with triple fried chips and my wife went for the beef with satay sauce and again, the triple fried chips. The pork belly was so full of flavour it was like a flavour explosion ! The chips were half potatoes each and we so fluffy on the inside and so so crunchy on the outside, just like triple fried chips should be. My wifes plate of food looked fantastic. I tried the beef and it was so tender, it literally fell off my fork. It was lovely. Our server came down to us to make sure all was ok. I had just one word, superb. At the end of the meal, we paid up with the server and asked how they are for bookings that night and she said thst they were fully booked that night. I can see why. To sum up, we just had the mains but that was more than enough for us. It has been a very very long time since we both had food that good. Cannot recommend, this restaurant enough. A little pricey, BUT, I don't mind paying a little extra for the standard of food and service we received. Will go back.More

A great menu of imaginative dishes, beautifully cooked, full of flavor. Kentucky fried monkfish with mussels was excellent. With great service and a friendly welcome we had a great experience.

Covid arrived when Bridgefoot was finding its feet in the competitive culinary scene in Sligo. It’s uplifting to see it reawaken as restrictions lift. It’s clear that the original masterplan for the very highest standards is being adhered to. Bridgefoot House means business and it...is certainly worth a visit. There have been problems sourcing hospitality staff nationwide but Bridgefoot has set high standards in recruitment. The front of house manager was very welcoming. We were handed a drinks menus as we took our stools until our table was ready. A pint of Lough Gill’s cloudy Cutback went down well. An Italian bottle of red was chosen from the keenly priced options.. The barbecued lamb rib starter was beautiful and the pickled cucumber and smoked sauce added to the experience. The prawn and scallop curry was a delight oozing with garam masala and basil. A tiny serving of pilau rice would have been welcomed but not a spoiler. My partner’s generously sized lamb shoulder tower attempted to steal the prize of the night with unannounced carrot a welcome surprise and the merquez sausage proved to be a good idea. Deserts were excellent. Cold chocolate fondant worked very well with the passion fruit sorbet and salted caramel. Three cheeses, grapes, chilli jam and warm soft crackers certainly satisfied. Throughout the dinner our table was attended by the warm and friendly Annie whose eyes smiled despite her mask. The food is essential but courteous and professional staff always are the icing on the cake. Thumps up to Bridgefoot House. During lockdowns I sampled its gorgeous scones but always waited for it to reopen and to do what it’s best at - satisfying customers with the highest standard of cuisine.More

We decided to try the Sunday Lunch in Bridgefoot House . There is a Brunch Menu and small plates on offer but we chose the mains . I had the Summer Veg Soup with a basil pesto deliciously light and tasty . For the mains...I chose the Rump of Mount Temple Beef , carrot, roast potato,Yorkshire Pudding which was full of flavour and perfectly cooked , followed with a very tasty Strawberry cheese cake quirkily presented . This kitchen team is producing dishes of exceptional quality, beautifully presented, and delivered to the table by a customer orientated staff. We are so lucky to have such a great restaurant on our door step , don’t take my word for it , go and dine there you will not be disappointed .More
