Absolutely love The Creel! We ate here a few times during the summer and everything was great. Now we’re in lockdown, they have totally pivotted and made everything super safe, but still an enjoyable experience. The staff couldn’t be nicer- always happy to chat and...help. Love popping in here for coffee (ps decaf is gorgeous too) on weekends and can’t wait to dine in hopefully soon.More

Went for breakfast on Saturday and was so good we decided to return on Sunday. We were not disappointed on either occasion. Great food, lovely staff, all COVID regulations being adhered to, The Creel cannot be faulted. The Creel breakfast bap is a must have,...particularly if you are nursing a hangover from a heavy night. Coffee and scones delicious also.More

The Creel is what a casual dining bistro is all about. A great all day dining menu, food of the highest quality, a great selection of pastries, and good service. It sounds simple but very few restaurants are able to achieve it. It was very...busy so booking would be recommended.More

Visited on a recommendation from a friend of a friend. It was quite busy with staycationers, so they took our name at the door took our name and we had to wait for around 25-30 mins, but it was worth it. The restaurant is cosy,...with a bougie styling. Even with Covid regulations they still manage to make it feel like the more traditional restaurant experience. The food was very good and the portions large. They have lots of the standard brunch-type foods on the menu, and all looked excellent. We ordered a variety of options among the 6 of us and everyone was happy. The price was very reasonable, working out at around €17pp for a main meal and a coffee.More

Visited on a Monday around midday on a recommendation. Staff at the door took our name and we were able to go on a short walk while we waited for a table. The food was well worth the wait, the portions are very generous and...good variety on the menu. We felt the price was very fair and despite being really busy, covid precautions in place, you couldn't fault them on service or quality of food. Will definitely be passing on this reccoemndation to friends.More

Before going on my staycation to Westport, I had asked for recommendations for restaurants.... Creel was recommended a few times for breakfast/brunch. On Saturday morning, before climbing Croagh Patrick, we came here for breakfast - arrived at 9am and had no issues getting a table....I had a large americano and the pancakes with bacon. I couldn't have asked for a better breakfast and it was the perfect meal before tacking the mountain. The food was so fresh and delicious. We also purchased a freshly made sausage roll for after our climb, and this happened to be one of the nicest sausage rolls i've ever had! Creel was so good we came back the next day for brekkie again...this time I got the french toast with compote, cream cheese and biscuit crumb... massive portion and set me up for my drive back North!! Thanks to all the staff as well who were so welcoming and friendlyMore

Yes The Creel does open for dinner. I think it is from 5-9pm. You probably need to book I would imagine.
