Recommended in the guide. Poor food and unfriendly service - in fact the only unfriendly service over a whole week touring all around Ireland. Thought the paintings might be nice but amateurish daubs. Would not bother again.

Had lunch here when on my trip Westport. Delicious pasta and stew. It was very busy and rushed when we were there but the food was so nice that I would probably come back for more.

Located upstairs off the Main Street over a family butcher shop. The decor is very 'olde world' with oilcloths on the tables; reminds me of my mothers kitchen as a child! The menu is extensive and food is prepared to order. The fresh fruit scone are delicious and were offered with fresh whipped cream and jam (and not those individual... More

I have eaten here on several occasions and each time the food is excellent. My son especially loves the home made scones! The food is always homemade and very tasty. And they also have really good coffee! It is by far one of the best places to eat in Westport!

Upstairs at the rear of the Butcher shop tucked away would miss it if u did not see the street board and what a disappointment that would be. Here u will find lots of home cooked food delicious soups and break and deserts.

We went for lunch at McCormack's following the tip we got from our B&B (Brooklodge, see my review for it) and it was a fantastic choice. The place is definitely not easy to find as it's on the first floor above a butcher shop with the entrance in a small alley on the side. Menu is all scattered on paper... More

A lovely, fairly priced place to grab lunch and wander the gallery afterwards. Well worth a visit when in Westport. We will certainly revisit when next in town.
