What a warm greating we got from the moment we entered these premises. Staff were so friendly and the food was absolutely amazing. Must say the pint of Guinness was very good as well. Great to avoid the hustle and bustle of the town in such quiet, quaint and welcoming surroundings. In my opinion a "must" for all visitors to... More

We arrived in just as lunch was finishing, it's a pity we missed out on the Lobster Salad for €12.90! I had the beef brisket sandwich and it was very very good and great value too. My wife and kids all cleaned their plates too. If you get the chance try their gin menu too worth bringing a driver with... More

Went here last night for dinner. Got seated fast even though it was crowded. Was just passing so said we would get a pint and a main course. We had to wait 45mins before we got our food. When it arrived it was the smallest amount of food on the plate. I had the monkfish and got four small pieces... More

Trip Advisor recommended The Shebeen and it was a great local find in Westport. Just out of the downtown it faces Clare Island, just beautiful! The Irish beef stew was the best so far....very casual and very local...not a tourist trap! Enjoy the great people there.

We shared a sea food platter, a very good choice! Very nice staff! The place is situated by the road and just a short walk outside the town.

We were here on a Sunday evening. It wasn't crowded and seating wasn't an issue without a reservation. I had mussels and they were tasty. I got the small order and it was huge. My husband had fish and chips and he was a happy man! We're only staying here one night or we would go back. The menu was... More

We don’t typically like to eat twice at one place, especially when we are travelling but after having such an incredible experience at the SheeBeen our first night in Westport we couldn’t wait to go back again. The seafood platter is magnificent and we are HARD to impress since we live in New Orleans. We also had the Salmon salad,... More

Went along on a Monday evening for something to eat and pleasantly surprised by the general buzz and attentiveness of the staff. Hadn't booked but got a table for 2 at 7.30 and enjoyed the food and atmosphere.
