Here recently with husband & kids. We shared the seafood platter, plenty for 2. Kid all cleared their plates. Happy all round.

Stopped off just outside Westport, on the Quays Road. Great staff. Simple and really good menu. All in all we'll be back.

I visited the Sheebeen two weeks ago with my close friend and my mother. I ordered the vegetarian linguine with low expectations and when I tasted it well it would be an understatement to say that it was fabulous! It was seasoned correctly and really 'stunned my tastebuds'. I would recommend the Sheebeen to anyone who wants good pub-grub and... More

Maybe our expectations were too high based on recognition of this pub in the Michelin Guide but we weren't impressed with the menu on offer or lack of Chef Specials (often available based on what's in season and/or available locally on the day). Food was satisfying however... I had tomato based chowder and (deep fried breaded) lemon sole goujons. And,... More

Four of us went for dinner here and we were not disappointed. It's a traditional type of pub with good beers and good honest food.

this pub/restaurant offers very good food. The sea food though is mainly deepfried, yet very good... The service is efficient . The location is outside the hustle bustle of the city, which is a good thing

We call here every summer and have never been disappointed! We've always managed to park up and get good wifi access at the bar. Food and hospitality is good .
