Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Food was delicious and great pint of Guinness. Lovely old style decor that made it so cozy and welcoming. We stayed close by for two weeks and ate here as much as possible. Fantastic dining experience.
Utterly delicious food & amazing value however the efficiency of the service was a negative & detracting experience. Our table was right beside the staff clearing area so our meal was had with a constant backdrop of clearing plates.
The staff were incredible & hard...working except as guests we felt every drip of sweat in their shift
Such a shame as the best meal we have eaten for such a long time however eating out is a total experience.
If the team could work more in the background or move the clearing station out of the dining room then our rating would be 5/5More

When I first walked in it looked like your average drinkers pub, so was unsure of the quality of food. Despite sitting on a tiny pub table the food was in one word - AMAZING. Warrants therefore 5* - I had the seafood bisque and...it is one of the best I’ve ever tasted. You could tell everything was locally sourced and fresh. There was a restaurant area in the back I think so my fault for probably not asking to be moved. Regardless - best seafood in Westport!!!More
A great meal last night at Cronin's Sheebeen - took a discerning Dutch guest who declared the whole experience as delicious. Great to hear about the local provenance of the ingredients. As good as it gets for dinner in Westport.
A lovely welcome despite them being very busy. The service was exceptional and always had the time to chat.
We returned the following night because we enjoyed the food drink and ambiance.
Great atmosphere, excellent Guinness, friendly staff and locals.
Well executed menu with excellent fresh fish.
Big selection of quality drinks.
A fine example of a traditional Irish pub with food.
One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time : Had the langoustines and the hake with the chocolate fondant . My friend had the chowder and the sole . The quality of the fish and the cook on it was top class....Simple ingredients prepared in a beautiful way .. the young blonde girl on the floor who looked after us was excellent . It was quiet for a Saturday night but the fact that this place is a little out of town on such a miserable night it’s understandable . I hope to get back again during the summer and enjoy the views. Keep doing what your doing guys, people will travel for that food. Compliments to the chefMore
We had a lovely meal here. Really nice staff. My 4 Yr old loved the food. From scallops to the excellent Bisque. Really Really nice. Will be back soon. Highly recommended
