From all angles, this place pretty well hits the spot. With only 11 tables, there’s a contemporary intimacy about the place and within minutes you become increasingly aware that beyond this, there’s points of interest among the many paintings and artefacts dotted around the walls....Dermott is very present and thoroughly engaging. And his recipe for the Pantry & Corkscrew generally, creates dining magic. Quality ingredients all the way. Perfect cooking. Bang-on taste. Tempting presentation… We really had the most fantastically enjoyable meal.More

Two friends in search of somewhere to eat on a Friday evening, we stumbled upon this quaint restaurant. We went from looking for a small bite to going for a full three course meal. The À la Carte menu was too tempting. The food was...absolutely divine! I opted for Panko, Parmesan parsnips for my starter followed by a lovely Chicken main course and to finish a rich chocolate cremeaux tart. We paired our meal with a crisp and refreshing bottle of pinot grigio. The food, the wine, the staff and ambiance overall 10/10. Will come to Westport again to dine here. Stunning!More

We went a a family for an 80th Birthday, they were so accommodating and on top of the that the food is fabulous. We were really impressed with quality of the food and the wine choice is also excellent. Great find.

Three of us visited this restaurant for their "Early Bird" menu in September 2021. Everything from start to finish was relaxing and satisfying. I went "full pig" having the Ham Hock Terrine as a starter, and Duo of Pork as a main. Both dishes were...excellent. My companions were full of praise for their meals and also for their bottle of red wine (sorry, don't remember which). I could not resist the Poached Pear in red wine for dessert and was not disappointed. I was the designated driver on the night and I had spotted some local Mescan beers in the fridge. I asked could I purchase a couple to try for later and was charged a very reasonable price for these "as they were for later". Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and attentive. This is a must visit restaurant when in Westport!More

Once again this is my favourite restaurant in Westport. It’s been a few years since my last visit but it just keeps getting better. This was definitely the best meal I have had in the last 18 months. Not only was everything we had delicious...(we had the kedgeree to start and then I had duck for my main course it was perfectly cooked with a delicious mix of flavours). to add to that the hosting was impeccable. We were made to feel so welcome throughout our visit and, despite the difficult time it must be for all restaurants at the moment, they have been able to maintain their high standards of food and service. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning when I am next in Westport, such a joy to experience.More

Firstly, the menu in the premises is NOT what is advertised. The early bird is advertised as running until 6:30 when it's only on til 6. The prices are €4 dearer. The food was okay, nothing amazing if I'm honest. My husband's opinion is it's...pretentious..."trying to be something it's not!" Mussel bowl being emptied and the dirty bowl being brought back to the table was a surprise to say the least 🙄 as for 1930's french music playing the background "Sacre Bleu!"More

Exceptional food. Our group of six enjoyed fish, chicken and steak dishes. All were cooked to perfection and the food was excellently presented. Lovely wine list. Friendly, professional staff. Highly recommend this small intimate restaurant situated very close to The Octagon.

We ate here during a trip to Westport. This is a lovely, quirky little restaurant, just off The Octagon. Staff were friendly and on the ball and the food was fab - I had seatrout carpaccio as a starter and pork medallions as a main. Freshly baked...bread on the table on arrival a lovely touch. Nice wine list too ....More

Hi, I am afraid not as we have returned to a regular a la carte menu. We will however be bringing back our take away burrito menu during the winter months and beyond as well as normal service.
