Attended here on Sat evening and I was blown away with my food and the service. I had the rib-eye steak that was sublime, the chief is extremely talented as the trimmings contained a variety of contrasting flavours (a meat lovers dream) The service was excellent thanks to the attentive courteous and friendly waitress Stacey and the manageress Rose with... I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. It was my first time in Westport and I'd googled the best restaurants in Westport.. my god we weren't disappointed. It was out of this world!! We had the early bird menu on the Friday (before 7pm) so it was a very reasonable price, we enjoyed it so much we went back again... More

Booked a table here for myself and my mum to enjoy a nice meal together. The table was booked for 7pm. We arrived at 6.45pm and initially they couldn't find our booking even though I had booked 4 weeks in advance. They had highlighted the wrong table by mistake in their reservation book which was fine. Mistakes happen. We were then told... More

Really high quality food. Great taste. Nice menu. Best in Mayo I have ever tasted. Decoration is a bit disappointing. Well worth it.

A really good restaurant where the food is all locally sourced and second to none. The staff couldn't be more helpful.

Straight away, we were impressed with this restaurant. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The specials menu was explained to us in detail and the wine menu was delivered promptly. This sounds basic but it’s amazing how many places slip up on this. I opted for a glass of the house red. There was no choice but the wine... More

The restaurant was busy , but when making the reservation we were told we would be upstairs . This turned out to be an overflow room , which you have to go up to ,from outside the restaurant. This seemed odd at first but it was a nice small room with about 6 tables and the ambience was good. The... More

Description
An Port Mór Restaurant is run by Chef-Proprietor Frankie Mallon. Our philosophy is to use seasonal, artisan produce from local suppliers. House specialities include pot roasted pigs cheeks with black pudding & apple and vanilla sauce and 21 day dry-aged sirloin. The main emphasis is, however, on local fresh seafood and shellfish, particularly lobster, crab, scallops and langoustines fresh from the west coast of Ireland, especially Clew Bay.
