The manager is a complete joke! Had multiple bad interactions with this man, just to a name a few a couple of months ago me and my friend were told the place only accepted age cards which is a complete lie I’ve been going here...for the last 5 years and never heard this? On another occasion he asked me for three forms of ID I’ve never had a problem getting into any other pub as a woman in her late 20s. One night I was clearly very upset by myself outside the pub and the man started telling me to ‘take a holiday’ and other rude remarks I don’t know how this is ok for an older man to say alone to a very upset girl who was not even inside his pub at the time? On multiple occasions he’s been nice to me when with other people in the pub but very rude when I’m alone! Never had a problem here until this past year would not recommend to anyone!!More

We enjoyed our lunch in this stylish restaurant and bar and had excellent service with a smile from Sinead (not O’Connor). She was happy to give us her recommendations from the menu, while being personable and efficient. Food was tasty and hot and freshly made...to order. We will return, Nothing compares to you!More

This place is not cosy. With a name like Cosy Joe's, I was expecting a decent pub with a few nice pints of Guinness. This is a late bar for people who like alcopops and loud, music which is fair enough if you're into it....Food was very good value but we ate it as quick as we could and went across the road to Matt Molloy's.More

Was in westport for the weekend with a few friends. Called into Cosys Joes Saturday for a few drinks and some food. Really disappointed with the service. Staff were abrupt and not interested in our service. Waited over an hour for food and the place...was by no means packed. The drinks were fine to be fair but service was poor and some of the food was cold and had to be sent back. After bringing this to a member of staffs attention they were not overly concerned but brought it away and it came back fine but it seemed and tasted like it was over heated in a microwave. When we again raised concerns a member of staff agreed to give a decent discount on account of our dissatisfaction. I was here several times in the past and always had good experiences but unfortunately far from it this time. Not at all the standard you would expect and overall very disappointed.More

Arrived here on Saturday gone after it was recommended by a friend before we left home for a Weekend break. I didn't have ID with me which is fair enough but the woman in question was very rude to us. Actually got pleasure out of...refusing us. My mam said it is OK we will sit in the outdoor area which she replied very snotty the same rules apply!! Safe to say I will not return or recommend to anyone else who visits Westport.More
