Beautiful food, Our daughters (2 and 8months) loved the kids menu korma. We really enjoyed our food too, we’re big carnivores and the meat here is exceptional. What stands out to us most is the absolutely top class customer service, we were made to feel...so welcome and comfortable. Thank you for looking after us, we’ll always try to come when we’re in castlebar.More

The food is super fresh. The chunky chips were the best we ever had. We were a noisy bunch with 5 young children - the man front of house was amazing with them. Beautiful food and fantastic staff!

Love this central restaurant in Castlebar, I’m a fan of their Eastern flavours and the ingredients are always fresh in balanced dishes, what sometimes it’s hard to find! Lots of veggies and vegan options! Start with their delicious tomato soup, main dish a spicymoky Lamb...or a Salad and don’t forget to taste their Turkish delight, best one.. believe me!! Lovely atmosphere and owner is always receiving you with a smile!More

Very overrated - our experience was not that reflected in other reviews. Food good but better as a takeaway than eat-in. Ate there last night- restaurant very basic and lacking atmosphere. No alcohol license which was not clear on website or other reviews. Owner was...there but not friendly. Placed too close to another table - had to endure a long, loud monologue from another diner. Covid protection poor - inadequate physical distance between diners. No sanitiser although waitress was wearing visorMore

We have had takeaway from this restaurant a number of times and each time it is delicious. Staff are so friendly and pleasant when we go to collect food or ring in the order. Kebabs are delicious. They have lovely variety of chips also. Korma...is delicious. We will continue to order from the Olive Tree in the future.More

We stopped off here for lunch on our way across Ireland. We hadn’t made a booking so we asked for take away. The menu all looked fantastic so choosing was difficult. My husband was keen to get back on the road, but they were busy...we had to wait 25 mins for the food. It was worth every minute. The food was amazing. I got a burrito and my husband got a spicy lamb kebab. The kids both enjoyed their kids meals too. We also got some entertainment while waiting from the owner / manager. I would highly recommend if you are in the area.More
