We were recommended this place by a friend and are so glad we were. The waitress was on top of everything, no one was waiting too long for anything and no request was too much trouble. As a picky eater I was surprised to see...that bar one dish I would have eaten everything on it. It was clearly a well thought out menu with the emphasis on good quality home cooking. We both had three courses along with a mineral each and tea with dessert and it came to around €60 which is amazing value. The owner took time to chat to us which was I thought was a nice personal touch. We will definitely visit again when in the area again.More

Stopped here by chance for lunch a few days ago. Was very impressed. On entry we had to produce our covid certs & details taken. So we were off to a good start. Very good menu, well laid out bar/restaurant with outdoor area also available....Well looked after by 2 young servers who were very efficient. Will call again when passing.More

We stopped here twice last week and on both occasions the food was wonderful, excellent selection and great portions. Kids loved it too. Very friendly and helpful staff as we had not booked on first day yet they did all they could to accommodate us.

Very decent spot Family run, spotless. Place is cared for and it shows. Staff very homely, friendly, warm, yet professional. You're not long a stranger here. Food is very good and pretty much average priced although thankfully the extras not so. Lovely to get a...fresh cup of coffee and a split mineral at a non designer price. Very noticeable on the bill means a lot to the driver. Can't wait to return Thank you Btw busy spot (not that surprising) these type of establishments are not near as plentiful as one would wish. I am a Coeliac and a Gluten Free Diet is the only way this medical condition can be managed. First of all when I was given the Menu the first thing I noticed; there was nothing to suit my dietary requirements ie. "Gluten Free" and...only noticed "Wheat" there is a big difference between the two. When ordering with the waitress, I outlined my concerns about nothing on the Menu to facilitate my dietary requirements and she said she would check with Chef and she advised me that the Chicken dish was Gluten Free. I am clearly advising anyone with GF intolerance not to go to the Lough Inn as this dish was clearly not Gluten Free and I suffered for weeks afterwards as a result of this dish not being Gluten Free or contaminated with Gluten. Only people who are Coeliac or suffer from GF intolerance will understand this and it is not good enough to be ordering food and paying for it when it takes days to recover from eating anything with Gluten. Otherwise, it was a lovely restaurant and the staff were very friendly but unfortunately not Gluten Free friendly.More

We stopped into the Lough Inn on our way to Castlebar from Galway. This is traditional bar and restaurant, on the outskirts of Partry, located between Lough Carra and Lough Mask, with free parking. The place had a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with a good...menu of home cooked dishes; there were also included toasted sandwiches and paninis, all with fries and a mixed salad. We enjoyed the Lough Inn fish pie (about 15.50 euro), which was fresh and tasty, and the roast beef with mixed vegetables. The non-driver enjoyed a pint of Guinness. We didn’t have dessert, despite the apple crumble being very tempting, but had two strong coffees for the road. The prices were very reasonable.More
