My favourite restaurant in town. The food is delicious and service is excellent. Price range to suit all budgets. Recently visited for a birthday. The staff made it an extra special occasion. I requested a Maltesers cheesecake as a birthday cake and the chef did not disappoint. Vegetarian menu is the best in town. This restaurant never disappoints and the portion sizes are huge! Many thanks to all the staff and management. They make every visit one to remember.

Delicious food. We had baba ghanoush, hummus and very tasty falafel to start. Mains were superb especially the spicy prawn and chicken dishes. There were 4 of us and we all loved it. Also this restaurant is BYO so it works out as great value. Owner was very friendly and even the chef came out to ask if we were enjoying our meal. Can’t wait to return.

So, we eat here a few times a year and always try something different. Have never been let down. We have foodie friends from USA, Lebanon, South Africa and Canada, who when in Ireland always make a point of dinning in Aishas and have never been let down. First class

Ate here a few weeks ago and was disappointed compared to a previous visit. The lamb skewers were dry and over cooked and not worth the 20 euro for two skewers and a few small pieces of bread and salad. Others in the group also found it expensive for what they got, we have found better value in other Lebanese restaurants in Dublin. Also the waiting staff forgot part of our order, they sorted it out but it took a good 10 minutes while the food was going cold. The interior of the restaurant could also do with refreshing, there is paint flaking off the walls on the stairway which looks pretty shabby especially with the prices being charged. It wasnt a good look.

Finally getting around to writing a,review after a busy summer. We celebrated my husbands 50th birthday here we were a party of 6 and 3 kids. From arrival to leaving everything was superb . The restaurant had reserved us a lovely table and had put out some decorations I had dropped in and everything was laid out beautifully. All the menu and dishes were explained very well by a most attentive young waitress, as several of our party had never tried Lebanese food she helpfully recommended several different starters and main courses. The kids were spoiled for choice but settled on homemade pizza which the adults drooled over. (We shall return for that too )..and were well looked after with jugs of cordial. As its, bring your own with no corkage we were able to have wine and prosecco which was cooled for us at the table. (Really makes it affordable and extra special ) Our food was outstanding and several of our party came up from Dublin and were extremely impressed with it...Dublin eat your heart out ! Service was seamless and everything was spaced out nicely ,we never felt rushed or had to wait too long. Food was all cooked fresh to order that was evident. We managed to squeeze in Desserts and left very happy. I would recommend especially the Hoummous which is to die for and the Meat Mezza! Would highly recomend either for family do or date night. Really chilled place.

A big group of us ate here to celebrate a birthday. Most of us were vegetarian and it was awesome to have so many options - we had the garlic mushrooms, mezze sharing platters, pasta, and great desserts. One of us was an omnivore and said her steak was one of the best she'd ever eaten. The waiter was patient and attentive and generally excellent. The only things against this restaurant are the fact that the bathrooms are downstairs while the actual restaurant is upstairs, which is a hassle, and the decor is pretty out dated. The incredible food and service more than make up for those two niggles. We're already planning to eat here again.

I found the staff very friendly and helpful. The food is so tasty and fresh. I love the choice of the numerous varieties of tastes and flavours, the Lebanese dishes are my favourite. I've been many times now and I have never left disappointed. The portions are generous and there's always a doggy bag taken home, (I don't have a dog) 😉 The atmosphere is pleasant and if you need alcohol you can bring your own, given the culture, I respectfully don't. 🤩

We got takeaway from here using the Aisha app. The app was so easy to use and also has a discount when ordering over a certain amount. The food was ready exactly when it said it would be which is not very common in many places. The food was fantastic, lovely Lebanese flavours throughout. There was also plenty of continental dishes too. Highly recommended.

It was so refreshing to have some other kind of food than Irish pub fare. Besides, every dish we had was delicious. I think their baba ghanoush was the best I'd ever had, and we're not novices when it comes to Middle Eastern fare. The kibbeh were also extremely tasty. They were kind enough to prepare the chicken and chorizo dish without chorizo for me, and the tastes of the goat cheese, sun dried tomatoes and cream sauce together were just heavenly. My husband really enjoyed the grilled meat platter (although the chicken kabob was a bit dry) and it satisfied his protein desires well. Service was very friendly and solicitous, but the food took some time to arrive. They had nearly a full house and they did warn me that my dish would take a little longer to prepare with my requested change. A delicious dinner!

It is unfortunate to leave a poor review as the food was lovely however, the service and wait time was awful. We were given recommendation from one of our friends - we all arrived at 6.20pm and did not leave until 10.00pm due to very slow service with no interaction from the waiting staff about the delays. Our starters arrived 30mins after ordering, mains took 90mins after our starters were collected off the table. The venue was not overly busy - less than 40 people. Our table was a table of 8 out of those 40.we were not the only table to complain on the wait time. Further delay was added as both mains and starter were incorrect for a person on our table. The expressed the delays are due to the pizza oven being busy, but in reality the communication to the tables was not evident. Should this be an issue, it would be beneficial to have this mentioned when the orders are being taken to set expectations. With this in mind, we would love to go back as the food was lovely but service and communication does need much improvement.

Myself and 16 colleagues had a fantastic meal on Friday night. The Lebanese starters filled the tables and were delicious and plentiful and somewhat of a pleasant new experience for some of my colleagues. Everyone choose a wide variety of mains, from the tender lamb shank to the traditional mansaaf, or Shish and their creamy succulent salmon and chicken dishes. There were sides of chips, aromatic rice and my favourite sauté garlic potatoes. Dessert too were just gorgeous and because myself and a colleagues are dairy and gluten free our master of chefs prepared a beautiful fruit of the forest gluten and dairy free crumble, it was amazing, such kindness and thoughtful I have never seen in any other restaurant before. The staff were curious and efficient and paid attention to details dispute such a busy night for them. All in all we had a fantastic night and enjoyed the ambience which put us all at ease and added to a thoroughly enjoyed our night out. Thank you Chef Adel and your team for your kindness and mastery of delicious food and dining.

Last night we ordered the meat mezza for two plus one kid size pizza and cannot fault this place at all. Food was brilliant as always, generous portions as usual, and the kids pizza came large size. The meat mezza was shared among four adults. Fantastic delicious food and great value. Big thumbs up from us 👍

Everything I hoped for . River view seating, great staff, chef came out to check if everything okay a nice touch. Superb free starters , amazing main courses, Lebanese Meat Platter soooo good and large I had to take some of it home. It’s bring your own another good value point and the authentic music playing just set the tone. Vaccinations proof required and very clean toilets. Definitely would visit again it was a lovely couple of hours balance here and well priced too don’t miss it.

I very rarely write a review. Usually it needs to be a five star occasion. I had a couple of very old friends visiting me from France who wanted to eat out after flying in on Friday evening so I booked Ayisha's for 8 pm. What with the plane delay, the hire-car delay and getting lost on their way to my house, we did not sit down at Ayisha's until 9.30. Most restaurants would have told us to try another day. I picked Ayisha's for our meal because my French friends are Foodies who would, I thought, appreciate some Lebanese cuisine. Let me give you an example: when they got married half a lifetime ago, they hired Raymond Blanc's Manoir Aux Quatre Saisons for the wedding lunch. Two of us had the day's Special, a fish stew, one of us a lamb stew, and the fourth a kebab. To begin with I was tempted by the baba ganoush but as I sometimes make this at home, I opted for some filo parcels. The other starters were kofte and chicken wings. All full of flavour, very generous portions and excellent value. The service was attentive, discreet and friendly. Leaving the restaurant, my attention was caught by the take-away pizza menu displayed at the front door and I found myself thinking "I wish that I lived closer to Drogheda!"

Went with a voucher yesterday and I was left two hours waiting for my meal(a chicken kebab and massaf chicken)the restaurant was completely empty. Two couples who got there after and were served starters and mains before me. A family got in for a take away and came back half an hour later and the food was ready. One hour and a half later they sent me a hummus thing which shows they knew I was waiting for nearly two hours. When it hit two hours I checked my bus times and needed to leave or I'd have to wait another hour so I asked the food for takeaway away and they handed me the food in FIVE MINUTES. No apologies, nothing. Food wasn't good when I got home. They only did this because I had a voucher and didn't ask for anything extra. Absolutely disgusting behaviour leaving someone waiting two hours for a chicken kebab. Really looking forward to hearing their excuse.

GadDantas, Firstly, your review is laughable. All details you have published here are false!. I contacted you directly by phone yesterday to find out why you felt the need to put this false review on Tripadvisor and you were extremely rude and told me to put my answer on Tripadvisor so here goes. Your booking was made for 6.30pm for TWO people. You arrived ALONE at 5.45pm, no problem you were welcomed and seated and given a menu and offered drinks while you waited for the other person to arrive. You said that you would wait. Our long time staff member, Dannan, didn't take your order immediately as the other person had not arrived. Dannan is a lovely local well spoken, Irish girl. At approx 6.15 you approached Dannan and said you were ready to order. Dannan asked if you were also ordering for the other person and you replied Yes. Order was taken for Two main courses and there was absolutely no indication that you wanted the second dish as a takeaway. Food was ready within Five minutes however the second person had still not arrived to join you. Dannan checked on you multiple times and could see that you were still alone so she brought you complimentary hummus saying that "you must be hungry so I brought you something to enjoy while you wait for the other person to arrive". You said thanks! This would have been a perfect time for you to mention that you were dining alone or that you wanted your food straight away, however, no you just said thanks. You still did not mention that the other person was not coming to join you! At this point Dannan advised you that the food was ready to be served as soon as the other person arrives. Again you just said thanks! At 7.35 you asked for the food to be packed away as you had to leave by 8pm. Dannan apologiesed that you were not able to enjoy your meal at the restaurant and said she hoped that we hoped to see you again. At no point during the multiple times that you were checked on, did you ask for an update on your food or mention that one of the meals would be for takeaway as the other person was not going to be joining you. At best guess, there must have been some sort of language barrier or misunderstanding as Dannan mentioned that you were not Irish and English was not your first language! However, your English here seems to be perfect here! Apologies were in fact made (contrary to your claims here on Tripadvisor) even though we did nothing wrong as the second person didn't show up and you never advised us you wanted the food solo! You were given multiple chances to ask for your food or simply advise that the second person wasn't coming or that the booking was only for One person. As a rule, when a table is booked for Two people and only One person is there, no food would be sent to the table unless you specifically as for it and say the second person is not coming or running slightly late! We are not mind readers! You mentioned that other people came in after you and were served before you, of course they were, you were supposedly waiting for a second person to arrive! They arrived together ordered together and ate together! 1) Your booking was confimred as Two people 2) You arrived alone and never mentioned anything about the booking only being for one person or a change to the number in your group 3) How can someone honestly sit for Two hours and not ask for their food? 4) You can provide False Claims here, however, who will honestly believe you sat for Two hours and didn't think to ask for your food, even though you were approached multiple times! 5) When you asked for the food to be packaged for takeaway, it was out to you within five minutes. 6) Please consider brushing up on your English or people skills as you clearly are unable to ask for your food which was ready within Ten minutes of you ordering and you were advised of this! 7) If you are going to complain about the food not being nice when you get home, please at least use the correct name of the dish you ordered! I hope you enjoy my answer, we don't need to give excuses to someone that doesn't know to communicate with the waitress and ask for their food or mention they would be dining alone. Hopefully, you won't return.
