We had a meal in the Hops bar, we loved everything about it. The decor is gorgeous, the seating really comfortable and the staff where wonderful. Friendly and welcoming we will definitely return. Well done- you have achieved an excellent combination for a great night...out.More

I was reluctant to book the Hops Bar from reading previous reviews but we were staying in the D Hotel for my nieces 18th birthday and didn't want to leave the hotel for food. I was glad we took the chance. The food was lovely....There was a lively atmosphere with a band playing. The staff made a nice fuss of her, the band called her up and the manager brought out her cake and all the staff sang Happy Birthday to her. They couldn't have been nicer. Thanks again.More

Mothers Day, I was so excited to be going to going for dinner and drinks @ The Hops. Arrived @3:50pm, Ben your host said that The Hops was fullly booked up after looking me up and down and making me feel like I was dirt/...crap on his shoe. There was only a few tables occupied and a couple with reserved signage on them. Went outside and went online was able to book a table for 2 @4:00pm. We only had 2 drinks, to prove a point that there was tables available, I was so upset at this stage I couldn’t manage dinner- my whole Mother’s Day was ruined by this experience.More

Just to be clear we ate in "The Hops Bar" not "Goodwins'. The staff were very welcoming and professional. The food was excellent especially my fish which was very fresh.

Me and my partner visited the hops for food and I have to say the food was absolutely gorgeous. Our waiter was absolutely Fantastic I think he said his name was Brian. He’s only working there a few days but he was absolutely brilliant I...can’t thank him enough he made it so enjoyable he made sure to get us sorted and was so cheerful it made are visit much more enjoyable. Definitely will be back.More
