The food is very good and the restaurant provides comfortable seating. Most of all, the staff are super friendly and are quite willing to chat.

We had a group Christmas night in the Empty Glass - when we arrived we were welcomed warmly by all the staff. Our table was set up with Christmas crackers and looked lovely. It was a set Christmas menu but with plenty of options and...one of our group who is coeliac was well catered for. Suresh looked after us for the evening and was really attentive - the food was very good and there was plenty of it. There was lovely background music playing for the evening. We couldn’t fault the service the food and the friendly atmosphere. We will definitely return.More
Really pleasant decor and lighting. Had booked but for most of the time we were the only ones there. Starters (soup and wings) were good. I ordered baked cod, fish of the day. No mention by staff that it was served with curry sauce! Not...as awful as it sounds but bizarre. Chips were amazing and husbands burger “quite” nice but “ dry and over cooked”. Staff were really lovely and fixed price meal is good value.More
Had booked dinner there with friends for my birthday. We got a call a few days beforehand to say we were being moved to a private room due to a large group having made a booking. Didn't think it was a big deal, but it...turned out we were put in a room in between two BLARING parties (playing different music). It was almost impossible to hear ourselves talk, especially as the doors of both parties opened every 2 minutes with people walking through. It was a pretty awful evening. To be fair, the waiter gave us free bottles of wine to compensate, but we really should have been informed beforehand that they had booked a party with a DJ (not a group having dinner) so we could make a call on it. We should have left, but it was pouring out. Certainly won't book there again or recommend it , it is just unreasonable not to have informed us beforehand.More

Thank you sooo much for such a lovely comment:) We are looking forward to see you soon again
It was a lovely experience, the waiter was so friendly and the food was exquisite. At 49.99 for a couples 3 course plus a bottle of wine everyone should know of this place. A great find!
Lovely ambience in this surprisingly quiet restaurant as it is in the city - situated at Sarsfield Bridge. It's attentive and thoughtful staff was the highlight of our visit. We were recommended this by relations and they loved it so much that they ate there...with us the following night. Wonderful food at exceptional value! It ticked all the boxes for me.More
Me and my partner came for dinner last night (valentines day) and we were not disappointed. There was a nice relaxing atmosphere which accompanied lovely food and service. Would return again for sure and try out the other menus. The manager Sursh was very welcoming...and friendly. 10/10 defiantly recommend 👌More
We dined valentines night with our 12 month old in tow, Saresh and Rob went above and beyond even entertaining our son and as for the food omg the best we have ever tasted Ross the chef is gifted. Cant wait to return.
The house wine was very nice but the food was super I got a very nice burger and chicken wings, the staff was very nice and took nice care of us.
I went to the empty glass with my husband and 2 sons. Serece, our server, was a delight and the food we ordered was undoubtedly delectable. Thank you for a very fine meal, Serece, and happy new year! -Madeline & John
Visited this restaurant Sunday evening with friends, we hadn’t pre booked at table but that was no problem. Suresh and staff could not have been more helpful, the food was fantastic and great value for money. I will definitely be back.
All five of us really enjoyed our meals of generous portion size. The wine was of good quality and the service was exceptional
