The staff were friendly and accommodating. The restaurant has put in screens and spaced out tables. The staff all wear masks too so we felt very safe. We had the chicken burgers, chicken wings and spice bag as well. The food was reasonably priced and the portion of chips with the burgers were big. The chicken wings were also a good size portion too. The spice bag was very large also. We felt safe while eating here and we enjoyed the food too.

We visited on new year's eve, and the place was packed but we only waited 5 mins for table. (They dont take reservations for parties under 6 people, which personally I'm not a fan of) . Good selection on menu and can do gluten free etc. Full bar. Noisy and busy, casual dining. Sharing platter to start was delicious and would serve 2 adults easily as a main with a side of fries. Would return.

I’ve gone here for food with my boyfriend a few times now and each time, we’ve been served by the loveliest of staff who ensure all our needs are met and the food is always amazing. Huge menu that also caters to people with any special dietary requirements. Lovely clean place to sit too, gorgeous interior and staff never rush you out so there’s a lovely relaxed atmosphere. One of my absolute favourite places in Limerick to go to.

We tried here after a visit to the nearby cinema (Odeon) and were pleasantly surprised at the friendly welcome and got a table very quickly. They do have salads on the menu and we were sorry we didn't try them - instead we went for two variations of their signature burgers. One of ordered fries on the side, the other didn't but that didn't matter, they came out anyway. Everything tasted quite bland and the sauces that arrived were pretty insipid too. If it wasn't for the great service, we wouldn't be rushing to return.

Ate here a few times since opening in the City and decided to venture to the newest location in Castletroy with a friend for lunch. We shared a spice bag and other starters.... the spice bag was so covered in mix that it was way too salty and overbearing. Everything else was middling but really think it wasn’t up to the standards of the hype it’s given. Staff were very friendly.

2nd time here and the food is still great. We visited late lunchtime midweek and it was relatively quiet. Service was attentive, but not intrusive. We had both coq and bull - both were really nice. The coq looked especially good and I'm told was really juicy. All the better for being that little bit cheaper with the lunch menu! We'll certainly be back again.

Being located in a now mostly pedestrian street makes all the difference to terrace dining. Although the room inside was large and hugely welcoming, we decided to stay outside and do some people-watching while eating. The fajita ingredients served still sizzling on a tiered plate are all you need to 'make your own', i.e. cramming the wrap exactly how you want it, with the perfectly-cooked ingredients on offer. Both vegetarian and meat options were a perfectly spiced delight, and the burgers, although they appear very large, were not too filling to small bellies while being also delicious. Both potato and sweet potato chips also went down a treat (it's so easy to make a mess of chips; Coqbull didn't).
Michelle was our waitress and we were attended to promptly, efficiently and professionally, but without any undue rush or any fuss, adding to the relaxing experience.
Definitely a great evening in Limerick.

Coqbull is a unique spot, the food is good but a little overpriced for what it is. The large portion of wings was a great size, I had the BBQ and they were great, and the wings are huge. My girlfriend had the pepperoni pizza, which was mediocre especially for the price. The base was slightly under cooked and was more akin to a takeaway pizza from a deli than a restaurant. It came to €17 euro when chicken was added which is pretty shocking. Wouldn't recommend. Cocktails are interesting and different. Staff were hit and miss. Some are great (Patrick!) and some are less great and a little unfriendly/attentive to their tables. Overall, not a bad spot and certainly worth a visit, just be prepared to pay a little more than you'd expect.

From the entrace to the table we sat at, everything looked great, lighting was cool and the music set the scene perfectly. The waiter Kevin was really kind as well, was open to customizing my burger for me which was great cus I didn't even know that was allowed, that they catered to my preference gives them a 5 in my book. Really nice drinks as well, they have a meal deal of cocktail starter and main that's super value for money. All in all great experience

We had dinner and drinks shortly after Christmas and we were nothing short of highly impressed by the whole service from start to finish. My partner and I had not been on a date night since our little girl arrived and there was definitely some hesitancy. This feeling soon left as we were shown to our table. The complexity of dining out with covid documentation can often appear be of offputting. However this was dealt with promptly inside the door and in a relaxed way so as not to be forgotten, but also not to overtake the experience either. All staff seemed so happy and the working relationship between them was refreshing to see. Our waiter, kevin was none other than exceptional. He advised us on the food and drinks menu in a very approachable and kind way and nothing was too much trouble at any point, despite the restaurant being lively. The food was amazing, we love good hearty feel good food and this is definitely the go to spot for this. The transition between from drinks to starters and main courses was perfect in terms of timing. The atmosphere in coqbull is cosy and fun all at the same time, a refreshing environment to see especially with the affect of recent years on hospitality. At all times we felt safe and well looked after by kevin, all the necessary hand hygiene and mask elements were implemented and tables were well spread out. For us, it was an amazing evening from start to finish and we look forward to returning for a baby free night again.

Went here on our recent trip to limerick. It was lovely, food so tasty Burgers just fabulous, my husband loved the chips with their special spice which we were told was top secret , Service great and good value for money. Mention to Conor our server who was very friendly and definitely an asset to the business.

Have been here a good few times now and it is always a brilliant experience. The staff are very happy and chill and very helpful and friendly, have to mention Nathan and mona who always make sure you have a great laugh!! The foods delish and lots of drink choices... cocktails, local beer etc. Ideal for lunch break or for something a bit special great for a hen party!!

Visited Coqbull for lunch on a sunny afternoon with friends, they kindly allowed us to sit outside in the sun. The Token Bull burger is one you will dream about! Great for a place that focuses on meat to have such a satisfying and tasty vegetarian option. Staff were friendly and COVID aware. My favourite veggie burger yet, I will be back!

What a fantastic place to celebrate my birthday. The members of staff were attentive, polite, and are definitely made for the hospitality sector, I can't fault them.
I had a beautiful cake brought out and the staff sang happy birthday making this old woman feel not so old🤣🤣
All staff are amazing but Cian and Ketih went above and beyond as did Cillian (I think his name was).
The food and drink were of high standard , and with someone who is particular about food given a health condition it was accommodating.
With new restrictions their approach in tell people it was time to finish up was assestive and polite, keeping within the covid regulations which I really appreciate.
If your in Limerick and need a great place to go I would highly recommend it.
Many thanks for an enjoyable evening and I shall be back with friends and family again.

Had lunch with family here and it was amazing. Cian and Conor were absolutely brilliant ,so kind and was very accommodating with my young daughter and for any parents looking to go out with children they offer alot of different options and will try their best to help those picky eaters. I recommend getting spice bag. It is a big portion worth every penny and let's just say their cocktails are unreal. The special "on Wednesdays we wear pink" was so tasty would really recommend it be put on everyday drinks menu.
