Very poor. Have eaten from here for years as it is usually good. Bought family meal deal for 30 euros and it was extremely poor. Both the prawn and chicken dishes were virtually the same, except the prawn dish was sour and inedible. Slimey stickey...dishes with an undescernable mix of onions and cabbage as the veg. The only passable dish was the chicken satay skewers which in itself was a bit tough and over cooked. Prawn crackers hard and broken into small pieces. Prawn toast mushy and a bit sour. By far the worst Chinese I have had.More

Great food and very good value with the family deal - 2 starters and 2 mains (or 3 mains) with drink and prawn crackers. Love the chicken curry.

Had a takeaway from here and the food was great tasting and huge portions. Lovely ribs as starters and singapore noodles were done just right.

The rice had too much pepper but everything else was perfect. Would recommend the crispy shredded chicken.

Note, this is a review of Pagoda, Castletroy, Limerick. Our order was taken incorrectly. We ordered a vegetarian satay and were given a "House satay" which comes with meat. We also ordered chips with a chicken lo main that did not come. We called back...and told the lady who answered the phone that we were disappointed we didn't get what we asked for. We were told "I'm certain you asked for a House satay, but I'll change that for you anyway" and then she hung up. What atrocious customer service. I've worked in bars and hotel for four years now, and I'd be fired on the spot if I said that to a customer. The vegetable satay we then received was very watery and did not taste of satay. Would not recommend. I also take issue with the server not repeating our order back to us in the original phone call. Doing this would solve all the problems. Very disappointed with the food and service from Pagoda, Castletroy.More

I went with a friend of mine who is a student. The shop has nice ambience and clean washroom. We ordered 回鍋肉 (double cooked meat), 麻婆豆腐(Szechuan Style spicy bean curd), and Meat Song /肉生。 The bean curd was tasty and spicy engouh to wake up...my tastebuds. The Meat Song has a special combination of fresh cabbage, fried minced pork and deep fried vermicelli. And you make wrap yourself! The white rice was nice (this comment sound funny but trust me, not easy to find finely done steam rice in Europe) Most important, it opens till late night and gave us who stay up late a good choice for hot food.More

My son and I ate here after the Munster v Leinster rugby match. The meal helped us to get over the disappointing result of the match!! I had chicken and sweetcorn soup to start and it was the best I have tasted in a long...time. We both really enjoyed our meals which the friendly staff served us without fuss. The takeaway orders were coming in fast which is a good sign of the quality of food on offer. Will be back.More

On the 29th of July both my wife and I decided to go to this resturant as we both like chinese and I had never been. On arrival just after 6pm we walked in to find staff setting up and i asked the male staff...behind counter were they open. His reply was yes. I proceeded to ask for a table for 2. His reply was "there is 3 bus loads on the way to the resturant and could we wait 25 mins as they wanted to seat the bus loads first. They turned away two paying customers fpr this reason. My arguement is the resturant was empty, three bus loads would not have fit in that establishment anyway so what harm would it have been to fit two people in while they wait for there bookings to arrive. I found this disgraceful this day and age to turn custom away from your front door.More
