Good food, value for money.

Lovely dinner with friends. Starters especially went down a treat (chicken wings). Mains were good also. Friend described the brownie dessert as the best one he has ever tasted and I’d have to agree. Staff were friendly, especially the girl in the bar with regards paying/ splitting the bill. Would return again for casual dinning. Very reasonable for 5x 3 course meals and drinks.

Quaint in a nice way

We visited this bar mid afternoon, it was quiet but the full menu was available. The bar was spotless, the food was excellent and the service was very efficient. The server was very friendly and helpful. It is off the main road but definitely worth a visit.

Authentic atmosphere, great food and wonderful staff.

Authentic atmosphere, great food and wonderful staff. If you are in Co. Limerick west this fantastic pub is easy to get to. It is a stone’s throw from Adare, Foynes and Newcastle West. And it has many options for the gluten free members of any group. We particularly enjoyed the traditional fish and chips, Irish Stew and burgers. And we felt like we were dining with local families in the area rather than our fellow tourists.

Poor Food and OverPriced

My family and I visited the last week of Dec 2022 and we were very disappointed with the food. Chicken wings are advertised as crispy wings which they were not. I got a stuffed jacket potato which was terrible. The bacon lardons were barely cooked with lots of non crispy fat. My husband got slow roast beef which was very tough. We have been here before and the food was very good. We will return when there is positive feedback again on the food.

Beautiful food

We were a group of 15 . Adults and children. The menu had plenty of choices with a menu just as tasty for the kids. Service was brilliant. Food was beautifully presented, tasted lovely and generous portion size. The desserts were home made and delightful.

I wrote a great review about a year ago and have to say this restaurant has got even better! Great choice, large portions, comfy surroundings, amazing food and the staff are so friendly and helpful. In these Covid times it is clean, spacious and well organized. Love Foley's 100%

Made our first trip to a restaurant in the covid 19 era! All safety measures are in place but you never feel Uncomfortable with it to be honest. Staff very friendly as always and the beer and food was top notch. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Nice stop off on our journey to Killarney, plenty of parking. Lovely cosy atmosphere, good size portions and friendly staff. Overall a very pleasant experience. Can imagine it would be lovely too in the Winter.

Fantastic dinner again, Darragh is a very talented chef and very accommodating for vegetarian options even if not on the menu he has no issue in putting a dish together to suit your dietary preference. Well worth a visit you definitely won't be disappointed. All the staff at Foleys are very helpful and courteous.

5 stars all the way from us, we had a fabulous meal in foley’s on thursday 13th of june, and the food was just A1, from the service to the staff to the delicious meal we had, every thing was freshly made and nice and hot when it arrived to the table!

Lamb cutlets at €22.50 but unfortunately we’re cheap cuts of gigot chops Chicken fajitas has freezer burn taste Starter was garlic prawn there was 5 overcooked prawns that were unflavourful I have been here many times over the years and it’s safe to say the food has had a massive decline in quality overpriced freezer food Presentation was good food was not !!!!

Hi thanks for the review. I'll just copy and paste my response I left on Google reviews as you clearly have a vendetta against us. Just so I can clarify a few things I was in the kitchen yesterday evening and I remember your food going out. Our lamb cutlets are lamb cutlets and they come in to us at an expensive price. Your partner had the cutlets and he devoured the whole plate. You obviously didn't like the fajitas so you gave them to your partner and he also devoured them. Ye then proceeded to have desserts. At no point throughout the whole meal did you tall anyone that you didn't like your food. But when you were leaving you told the waiter that the cutlets were not cutlets and they were very expensive and you were going home to leave a bad review. So upon investigation I find that your review is very unfair as you never brought anything to out attention. If you had we could have rectified it

Really worth a visit

The new burger bar is unreal and a review just really couldn't do it the justice it deserves, I would highly recommended calling in to try it, they also do a takeaway option, best burgers I've tasted in a very long time, I also had the bacon and cheese chips, the portions are massive, Darragh you have done it again your gifted, can't wait for Saturday to come around again.
