I eat in the Glen Tavern most days at lunch. There's great variety on the menu and generous portions! I don't think I've eaten anywhere else with such friendly and helpful staff.

The Glen is a terrific spot. Great staff, friendly clientele. A huge selection of beers including some speciality local brews (the Ruby red ale my normal tipple of choice). Fact and efficient food service a notch above standard pub grub fare. All the big sport events on show, and with multiple boxes they go out of their way to cater for... More

I visited as a solo traveller on a business trip needing food. The menu is not huge but manages quite a wide variation in its options so should find something to suit everyone. The staff were welcoming and sent me to my seat to bring me a menu and pint of the black stuff rather than leave me waiting at... More

Arranged in Limerick for a couple of days, and need some good old fashioned Irish pub food. Never having been to Ireland before we had no idea what this meant, so took to google, when led us to the Glen Tavern. Mrs, tired 2 year old and I walked in to a delightful place. Very quite being a Monday but... More

We came to Ireland for a fast visit to the cliffs of Moher and we spent the Sunday at Limerick. We wanted to have a good Irish lunch. Thanks to TripAdvisor we found The Glen Cavern. Very nice and friendly staff who helped us with our order. The food delicious! Very recommendable! The environment is very cozy.

If you are in the area, which we were, make sure you make it out to this great pub. Super friendly bartenders, super friendly locals. This was our favorite pub. Tremendous selection of beers on tap. Some local and of course guiness. We recommend the beamish but its up to you of course. Its a great place to chill out... More

The Glen Tavern is situated in the heart of Limerick just off the main artery of O’Connell St. A warm welcoming pub, all the convenience of city life but very much a family run establishment.Known for it’s great value lunches and daily specials, all dietary needs are catered for and children’s portions are available. We cater for parties and have a function area for all occasions – parties, meetings etc.The Glen is a great sporting pub, hurling, soccer, golf and rugby to name but a few. All sports are catered for and all games can be watched live on our many t.vs and screens. We take pride in keeping our traditions so specials of the house like Irish Stew and Irish Coffees are available daily. A sample of our lunch menu is attached, although our homemade soups and specials change daily.A lively pub with live music, good beer, great pint and wholesome food.Traditional Irish music sessions on Monday nights.
