We were a large group of approx 50+ people who attended Sexton's Bar after the funeral of a loved one last Saturday. My partner dealt with Aileen to organise the food (soup and sandwiches) and he couldn't have asked for nicer person to deal with during a difficult time. The food was delicious and the staff on the day/night could not have done more for us. We were there late Saturday night and the staff could see we were getting hungry and offered to put on pizzas for us. The pizzas were delicious (the chef even told us they make everything on site from the dough to the sauce). They had a 30th party on in their back room the same night and the staff managed everything so seamlessly between the two functions. We would highly recommend Sexton's for any occasion and we will certainly be back again.

This was a lovely casual experience. The staff were most helpful & friendly. The place is well laid out & has a nice atmosphere. The pizza menu was small but fine. Great to see Vegan cheese as an option, its a pity a surcharge of €2 applied for it. It ended up more expensive than the pizzas with Meat.

We came across Sextons after searching around for a place that could accommodate my daughters allergies (diary and gluten). They did a great job of accommodating this and made great pizzas for the rest of us.
Looks like a good cozy pub if you just want drinks too.

Visited Sexton's for some Pizza and drinks as soon as restrictions allowed.
Pizza, cooked in a proper wood fired oven was delicious.
Felt totally safe as there was several metres between tables and everything was controlled.;

I hadn’t been to Sextons before, it is a really nice bar with a lovely atmosphere. The pizza is really good. However the cocktails weren’t freshly made which is a shame as cocktails are dear so the expectation is a handmade one. Besides that staff were lovely and we’ll definitely be back for pizza.

I work nearby and have been for lunch a few times. Always excellent. Sandwiches are really tasty and the pizzas are delicious. Good portions and excellent value for money. Staff are always very friendly and welcoming. Nice atmosphere and nice crowd. Have been telling friends to drop in for lunch too

A great spot for a pint and a pizza
Go here often whether it’s for a match, a catch up with friends, a couples drink or a great pizza!
Their pizzas are so good. There are so many to choose from and they are all Cooked fresh in their pizza oven!

Hands down the best pizza in the city. I was very impressed. If you’re looking for some proper stoned baked pizza in Limerick come here. Nice chill bar and a really nice big beer garden out the back. Loved it.

Very chill pub with great pizza! Some classic ones but also some interesting flavors/toppings. Good size pizzas and thin but soft and chewy crust. Both dipping sauces (mayo with garlic and sriracha mayo) were excellent with the pizza! I got the chorizo (with mozzarella, mushroom, and onion jam) and it was great!!

Without any doubt, my favorite place in Limerick. I was looking forward to go back after the quarantine and they have organized everything perfectly. They serve quick, they have taken all the measures that should be taken to prevent Covid-19, but even with that, me and my boyfriend felt like at home. Beautiful bar, pretty cool beer garden and also, best pizza in the city.

From the moment we arrived here we was made to feel welcome and relaxed. Myself, my husband and son had the most amazing pizza! We've eaten many pizzas and must say this place is up there. Authentic thin based... Delicious! Covid measures all in place, very professional. Our table waiter was lovely, as was all staff we had contact with. Can't find any faults... Thanks so much for a lovely evening.

We were able to have the exact toppings we wanted. The pizzas were cooked freshly for us and were delicious. The server had a lovely manner. We were well looked after without it being overbearing. The Guiness was excellent. The interior of Sexton's bar is interesting and has some quirky sections. The atmosphere was really good. Excellent value for money.

We had two delicious pizzas here. We had the chicken and ham regular pizza and a caeser salad gluten free pizza, both were Fantastic. Great service and a lovely pint too....will definitely be back!

Overnighted in Limerick, found Sextons and it did not disappoint. The staff, food and drinks were all too notch! If you happen to be in the area, go see them, you will not be disappointed.

Sextons Bar was a great find on my recent trip to Limerick led by the amiable owner Barry and his barmen extraordinaire Paul and Will, what a great pint of Guinness and how can you go past their wood fired pizza's.
