We stopped here with our two kids for breakfast. Kids were delighted with waffles Nutella and marshmallows, I had waffles with berries and cream and hubby had full Irish. All food was delish and service also was brilliant. Restaurant decor is lovely, highly recommended all...round.More

Having read the reviews we booked a table for lunch and asked them to make a birthday cake for my mother 80th birthday. The sandwich menu offered some really interesting option. We all went for the seafood platter that was excellent. They played "Happy Birthday"...whilst serving a very moist cake covered in lots of whipped cream Well worth a visitMore

I went along with my husband and 2 grandchildren this morning for breakfast in Bakehouse 22, from the moment we entered we were greeted with friendliness, and good humour which is always appreciated ,but in these times especially so. Social distance was perfect also we...were asked for covid certs ,so I could see that safety was high on the list . The service was quick and the food delicious, freshly prepared, large mugs for coffee and a pot of tea no small measures ,a good breakfast all around. Ladies bathroom spotless ,we left feeling happy and great value for money .Dont miss this place if visiting Limerick.More

We arrived to such a friendly greeting by Orla who just couldn’t do enough. With two children the menus consisted of really wholesome and delicious food choices which were really flexible for all the range of little eaters taste buds. Having eating our way round...Limerick this was hands down the best coffee and seafood chowder. Many thanks Orla and Bakehouse22 we will most definitely be back!More

As we were planning our trip to Kerry from the east coast, we decided to stop in Limerick for lunch, and based on their excellent looking menu online, we picked this place. I emailed in advance to book a table, and followed up with a...phone call. No problem- we would be looked after. When we arrived, we were told that they were changing their menu the following week, and as a result there were only about 5 or 6 things available to order that day. Would have been great to be told that a few days earlier when I called. Ordered drinks which arrived with a plastic glass (a pet hate of mine) - for Covid reasons I was told.. Food arrived in a cardboard box, presumably also to avoid the spread of the virus. However we were then given metal knives and forks. Does Coronavirus only spread on glass and crockery and not metal? Do dishwashers not wash the virus off glass? I ordered what was effectively a cheese and ham sandwich ( I have forgotten the fancy name on it), which was served on a stale bap., with some half decent salad. We were really disappointed with the whole experience. Their website is definitely the best feature.More
