After experiencing much of Limerick's sites, I wanted to find an Authentic Irish Stew...even though it was extremely busy as it was "Mum's Day", we were seated promptly and treated like royalty. Our waitress, Siobahn, was kind and helpful. The other staff was great too. The owner even greeted me. The Irish Lamb's Stew was phenomenal! The hamburger was perfect,... More

Great meal, great service and it was super busy. Got in and out faster than you would think (we were off to the Cliffs of Moher). Great atmosphere. Irish lamb stew and cheese burger were excellent!

Traditional Irish music and dancing can be seen every night of the week here. Glad we happened upon this spot down the street from our hotel. Friendly staff and good food too!

My family and I have been in Ireland for about a week now. We have traveled north, south, west and east, spending so much in the car and trying new restaurants. Out of every single restaurant we have tried, this was by far the best (I ordered the chowder for an appetizer and entree). We come from America, Siobhan said... More

We were staying nearby and visited The Locke for dinner/drinks/trad music the first night and came back on night two! Delicious, fresh food with a good menu variety. The bar served the regular Irish standards but also Killarney Brewing Beer that we had discovered earlier in our stay. The music was wonderful!

We were out walking to see sights close to our hotel, the Absolute, as we were nervous driving the rental car. Ended up being an awesome day. We were pleased with ending at the Loche to warm up by a cute little fireplace and great food! Ray had lamb stew and Carol had seafood chowder with soda bread. We were... More
