I’ve only ever gotten a takeaway/delivery from this place a handful of times and the food is very nice but once my fries came stone cold so barely finished them and most of the times I’ve ordered from here they leave out half the order...so they have a lot to improve onMore

This is such a lovely spot. The staff are so friendly and obliging, the food is great and it's central too. The only problem is getting a seat - it's too popular!

Although the cafe is very nice, food good and staff friendly I would not visit this cafe again. They are completely ignoring all the Covid rules. None of the staff were wearing masks, including the staff doing the cooking which is located in the seating...area. On arrival no one asked to see our vaccine pass and no-one asked us to fill in a contact address. I showed my Caine pass and no proper check was done on it and my partner was not asked to show theirs. I asked the waitress why they weren't following the Covid rules and she asked what were these. When I mentioned masks she said that she was exempt.More

Had lunch there on my last trip and enjoyed it ! It got the Irish breakfast in a crepe and it was a nice surprise (I'm pretty used to the traditional breakfast, I was curious to try it in a new way) : great taste,...generous size... The service was good too. A nice moment, thank you :)More

Went to story cafe this morning for brunch. We wanted something that wasn't exactly on the menu - absolutely no problem at all!! The food was delicious and extremely good value for money. However the best thing about the visit was the staff. Mostly, our...waiter, Jack! He was so nice and accommodating. Went above and beyond. Thank you Jack!More

I've been here a handful of times and always think of the Story Café as a great go-to lunch spot in Limerick city! The staff is attentive and friendly and the owner is always exceptionally kind. I've tried a few different options and everything has...been great - my recent favourite is the pulled pork wrap! Definitely reccomend this spot for anyone looking for a cute and affordable lunch in Limerick!More

My girlfriend and I, after being around family for several days on end in thanks to a wedding nearby, desperately needed something to wake us up before our journey home. We chanced this cafe and saw it particularly popular and filled and, after looking around...a bit more, settled on this. We’re glad we did though! For the first time in over twenty-four hours we both feel awake and alive! We both ordered the BLT sandwich, an americano and tea. The BLT arrived piping hot to the touch with crisp toasted white bread. The bacon was meaty and thick, the tomatoes plump and hot and the lettuce was nice. There was a complimentary side of small salad with tomato and dressing. I don’t particularly like mayonnaise but I found the amount on the sandwich itself was perfect. Our drinks were also hot. My coffee was strong and slightly bitter. I don’t have milk or sugar in my coffee and it was a great accompaniment and the tea was good too. On top of all this the service was great. Prompt and friendly, no small feat considering how busy they were. We will happily return if life finds us back in Limerick!More

I came in on the 24th of august and my sister and I both ordered wraps. Hers came as described on the menu. My wrap was missing avocado and peppers. The wrap also contained baked beans. On the menu it just said Ben’s. Bad I...know they were baked beans with sauce I would have ordered them. The waitress didn’t write down our order. I asked for no egg in my wrap and she confirmed. However when my wrap arrived there was egg on it 2/10 will not be going back againMore

I went out for lunch with my mother today to have a nice meal. We decided on this place and ordered the scrambled eggs and she had the full irish. The glasses the milk came in for our tea looked dirty as did the sugar...bowls. The toast was burnt badly on one side, the full irish tasted awful like it was just deep fried, the eggs were tasteless and not long after it made us both feel extremely sick. On top of the bad food, we were sitting outside while 2 waitresses served tables and a grown man who i assume was the chef or owner came up to the window behind my mother, banged on it aggressively and pointed angrily and horrible at the waitress beckoning her inside, to then immediately send her out again in a horrible angry tone, and it was far from busy. I feel terrible for the waitressing staff as they don’t deserve that treatment, and it was horrible to witness. Would definitely not recommend and will not be coming back, awful experience both food and atmospherically.More
