It was our first time in Katie Daly's, but they made us feel like welcome old friends. We had 7 and 5 year old boys with our group, and the staff, especially Jeff, did an amazing job at connecting with them, making them laugh --...they loved the place!! It was a busy day, yet everything was quick. The atmosphere is welcoming and festive. The menu has a wonderfully broad selection. The food was truly marvelous -- we all had different items, and we all agreed it's some of the best pub food we can remember. Our family had a fun, memorable time. We'll head straight there next time we are in Limerick!!More
We went here for dinner one sunday evening, I had been told about the steak sandwiches. The are the nicest i have ever tried. Staff are very friendly and when we visited we sat outside as the weather was warm. Great way to take in...limerick city. Would highly recommend the food. Its well worth the visit.More
Very good value for money! Excellent food, terrific beer, very friendly staff. And a very good Irish coffee! Close to the castle, but really quiet. You could spend the day here!
It was a cool, rainy day when we ran through the raindrops from King John's Castle into the Katie Dalys Pub. They seated us in a little snug on an upholstered sofa where we could thaw out. I ordered a Jamison on the rocks and...my hubby had a Guiness. He had the burger and chips (fries to Yanks), and I had the Beef and Murphy's Stout Pie and chips. Best pie in Ireland. It warmed me right up, and I was ready for the rest of the day. The waitstaff were professional and helpful. They checked on us just the right amount of time. Everyone in the pub seemed to be enjoying their meals, we saw plenty of empty plates heading back into the kitchen. I loved the history of Katie Daly. Excellent meal, excellent ambiance.More
This place is located near to the castle. The food is just ok, burger was nice but chips oily.Service was nice at start but then got gradually worse. One or two of the staff very inexperienced, others better. Kings Johns castle enables them to charge...higher prices. Wouldn’t rush back.More
I probably should have went with the fish and chips as the group I went with who had this enjoyed it but I went for the burger and chip and in truth I probably could have done better at home, it came out looking like...a burger you would get in burger king and that is not a good thing. Did not look fresh and tasted greasy.More
We all ordered the Fish n Chips, and we were not disappointed. Very light, not greasy, and very flavorful. The Treaty City Pale Ale was great and so was the Orchard Thieves Apple Cider. We highly recommend Katie Dalys
Visited on Friday night last for food with my wife . Good food , nice simple menue and good value . Service was prompt from a and pleasant young lady. Really nice setting across from the castle .
Came here for food with my boyfriend and it was so amazing of a quiet Tuesday afternoon. Fish and chips and steak was so amazing and fresh. Service was impeccable and the vibes were so lovely. Totally coming back here again!
Stopped by a couple times for drinks. Staff was so friendly and the food was very good. I know this via friends who said it was wonderful. Great place to catch you breath and relax.
Had a very nice lunch here with our three small kids. Staff were really nice and friendly. Our kids were being a bit of a nuisance but the staff couldn't have been nicer. They were able to adapt a meal for my wife's allergies too...with minimal fuss.More
Was in Limerick for 3 days and dropped in every day! Nathan and his staff were the nicest staff we came across on our weekend holiday!! Definitely highly trained and make u want to spend ur money in their pub!! Will definitely be back when...were back in Limerick! Thanks so much lads!!More
We had an amazing night and it was made so much better by our fantastic server Alex who was so friendly and attentive. He chatted to us and had a laugh and really made us feel at home. Will definitely be back. With staff like...Alex no one is a stranger here.More
We had just been in the castle and had a great visit. We had seen the pub on the corner before we went in so a natural choice to visit when thirsty. Food looked excellent and hearty but it was a pint we were after,...so found a table and sat down. I have to commend the staff and owner for attentive service and being very polite. We had a couple to wipe the dust away and went on our way but we will return soon. We didn't eat as it was early and not long enough after a hearty breakfast. I know, but we had room for pints, we're Irish after all.More
