Executive chef Fadilah, who was named "Best Asian Fusion Chef In Ireland 2019/2020' has traveled extensively in Asia sourcing new ideas and recipes she can bring back to Aroi in Kilkenny. Fabulous

The ambiance and service was excellent. The waiter accepted my order regardless that the kitchen had to close in 5 minutes. Pad Thai was scrumptious 😋

Lover's Visit

The food here is just perfect-had the chicken starter-wonderful and spicy. We both had the the crispy duck and thought it wonderful. The wine was reasonably priced. The place was immaculately clean. Excellent!

Great place in Kilkenny if you want to take a break and get some very good Asian food. We drove down to Kilkenny for the day on our vacation and after a busy morning touring the city, we were looking for a place for a...mid-afternoon lunch and found Aroi. Nice clean and well appointed restaurant with friendly staff. I had a Malaysian dish with spicy shrimp and chicken in rice with a chicken satay on the side. It was excellent! Everyone else in our party loved their selections and we left totally satisfied that we made the right decision. Location is great, not far from the castle and a few steps off the main street.More

Nice restaurant in Kilkenny

We tried this restaurant without a reservation on a Friday night but we were early so we got a table.depite the fact that they were fully book for later that night. Atmosphere is good and service is efficient meaning you order and you get served...right away. We shared an entré of "grilled eggplants" and had a main of "grilled salmon" & "crispy duck". Everything was very good.More

Is soap a luxury?

The food was very tasty and service pleasant. I was shocked that there was no soap in the ladies bathroom and when I brought it to the managers attention, she was quite unapologetic stating that the bathroom had been recently updated and that the dispensers...had not been installed. She proclaimed that there was soap in the out of date bathroom. My conclusion is that there was a choice between hygiene or tasteful decoration in the toilet facilities; Not an acceptable choice.More

Good Evening, We have in the past week finished the upgrade of our ladies bathrooms to to the benefit of our customers. Soap was left in a dispenser on the sink in the bathroom as we are waiting on maintenance to re install the dispensers....More

Great food!

We ate here during our one night stay in Kilkenny. The food was delicious, and the decor was very nice. We made a reservation which was a smart move as it was full on a Wednesday night.

Fabulous

I was recommended Aroi by friends. I made a reservation for the Saturday night for 18.30 for two people. From the minute we walked in the atmosphere was brilliant the smell from the kitchen was mouth watering I knew the food would be fabulous, it...didn’t let us down. There was a wide range of dishes to choose from and drink’s also. We went for the cocktails amazing. The food was outstanding. Would highly recommend Aroi for the price you get great food, drink and bundles of atmosphere. It’s a must go to.More

Full of flavour

The venue is atmospheric and staff are attentive to your needs and provide assistance when required. The food is of high quality, well portioned and flavoursome. I found each dish to be well paired with the sauce and full of protein which matched the price....A great dining experience and well worth a stop if you are in Kilkenny.More

Authentic Thai food

Unbelievable flavour, we had a selection of Thai food - all of it was absolutely delicious. Flavours very authentic and tasted like Thai food we had in Thailand. Great service too, would highly recommend

A must-try in Kilkenny

Incredible food! A must if visiting Kilkenny! Seven of us went and we all cleaned our plates. Lovely atmosphere, attentive staff, quick service.

Nice Aroi night in couple

As usual the service is excellent and fast. The restaurant staff is very friendly and at the same time professional. Josef especially likes to entertain us. Always a pleasurable experience to be waited by him. Recommended. The food is top quality of course. And the...cocktails are fun.More

We visited in mid term where the restaurant was not that busy, so service was very good. No real competition from other customers.
