Came here to celebrate a birthday for our friend. Staff were lovely and friendly and lots to choose from the menu at very reasonable prices. I had the foccacio with goats cheese For starter and chicken Maryland for main .

Very little compliance with Covid rules. Food was reasonable but not great. Prices were ok. Atmosphere ok. Not returning.

Stopped in for a pint and lunch. Lovely bar. Cozy decor. Lots of locals seated around. I had a delicious potato soup and chicken sandwich. Hubs had fish and chips. He said the best he’d ever had. Nice that the ladies room was convenient and...not up or down a flight of stairs.More

We stayed in the Club House Hotel and part of the deal was a meal in Victor's. We were so pleased with it. The food was delicious and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The decor is beautiful, in keeping with...the age of the hotel. The oldest in Kilkenny. We will definitely be backMore

Walked in for a soup. They had a tasty vegetable one ready quickly and with a bun and lots of butter. Tasted great too.

We had lunch, basic fare on the menu. The furnishings were old fabric upholstered armchairs seated around tables, and thick, dated carpet on the floor. The dark and dreary atmosphere was more in line with an elderly person's living room than a dining area. The...carpet as opposed to a hard surface floor retained musty odors and is hard to keep clean. We are fast and left, it was an unpleasant dining experience which we regretted from the start. There are many more options in Kilkenny to choose from than this one.More

We had dinner here one evening. The food is essentially good pub food and was tasty and in large portions. The decor of the pub itself is quirky and certainly miles away from the modern boring corporate look of many pubs and restaurants. The staff...were very pleasant and all in all it was a pleasant place to eat.More

My mother, brother and I chose to have dinner here during our short stay in Kilkenny. This was an excellent decision as the staff, environment and food were all fantastic. The venue itself was so quirky. It was bright and airy yet, still maintained many...of its original features with gorgeous plasterwork, sculpted ceilings, stained glass windows and brass finishes. I particularly loved the collection of framed cartoons on the walls! Our servers for the evening were Dee and Chris (I lived up to my word mate. It only took me a year to get this review done!), who were absolutely amazing. Nothing was a trouble for them and their friendly attitudes and conversative nature made our experience even more enjoyable. The meals we had consisted of fish & chips, steak and the daily roast which was chicken. These were served in a timely matter and were absolutely delicious. We enjoyed our dinner so much that we returned the next day for coffee before leaving Kilkenny. The staff this time, Caroline and Jessica, were just as friendly as their predecessors. The coffee was beautiful too.More
