Staff was superbly friendly and quick.Probably the best wrap that ai have ever had. My spouse's chicken sandwich was reportedly excellent too.

Went here for lunch with a tour group after a hurling lesson. Place was busy due to Under 19 (I think) All-Ireland Hurling championship.Good food with great service by our bartenders and hurling teachers. Great place to stop for a pint or a bite. Well...located near the castle and center of town.More

I had lunch in here recently. The waiter was friendly. But after we sat down and ordered after that a few other staff came in and they were the loudest people in the restaurant/bar and it was hard to get their attention. Our food arrived...cold and was not nice at all. I had roast beef and it was actually disgusting I couldn’t eat much of it and we went somewhere else after here and had food it was that bad, And nobody came near us to ask if it was ok or not. And they seen that we had barely touched the plates but did not care less as they were all too busy chatting amongst themselves. They ignored others that came in for ages. And one table asked twice for a menu and had to walk up to order, my advice is avoid if you want food.More

Visited this bar while Ireland were playing in a football match. There was a great buzz around the pub. Huge tv screens! Great place to watch sports. Very good live music. Food looked nice. Staff were very kind.

We arrived late on a weeknight but we were welcomed and treated to traditional Irish live music and some Simon and Garfinkel as well. Our waitstaff was super kind to us and took time to go over the menu. The monkfish was just right and...the four of us enjoyed a delightful evening.More

Went in with my wife while visiting Kilkenny around half 3 today. I seriously wondered if the barman was taking the Mickley as he took 10 minutes to serve the only other couple in the pub. He eventually made the effort of coming over to...us..being polite as always we thanked him and smiled appreciatively ..in return we got...nada, ni feedback or courtesy whatsoever. He returned to the Dublin couple who he seemed to know and talked about ocean something or other in the 6:30 at punchestown...feeling that our business was unwanted...we left...." see ye and thanks" we said as we always do...in return we got silence and ignorance of our exit...tall guy you should maybe think again about your career choice.More

Not sure how you can get a couple of sandwiches so wrong but they did! I ordered the Caesar chicken wrap, my husband the chicken and stuffing panini....both absolutely bone dry! The wrap was literally dry chicken, bacon and lettuce, no Caesar dressing in sight...and...was falling apart it was so dry. The chicken and stuffing panini was the same. So disappointed as we were only in Kilkenny for the afternoon and I'm sure there was loads of great places to go for lunch. Hopefully this will save someone else a disappointment.More

Called in today & had lunch with my husband. We were seated & served fast enough tbf. I got the Burger & as I cut it in half I found a hair in the center of it. The waiter seemed like a genuine enough chap...& handled the situation very well to be fair to him this was definitely a kitchen problem. However the replacement lunch that he brought me out there was (yep you guessed it) another hair this time in the coleslaw... I give anyone the benefit of doubt but TWICE in a matter of mins TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. Won't be back.More

We had the grilled chicken fillet burger which was lovely and juicy but cooked to perfection. My friend had BBQ buffalo wings which were so tasty and just falling off the bone. We enjoyed it so much we went back the following night and had...the Homemade Garlic Mushrooms which were just delicious and the buffalo wings again. And they were just as tasty. Lovely area, staff couldn't do enough for us, very nice portion sizes and very reasonably priced. Would go back in a heartbeat and will recommend to anyone.More

Little to no gluten free options, sandwiches were preordered for the group weeks in advance and the organizer was told that they couldn’t make a gluten free sandwich, then for the evening “meal” there was 1 option a Ceasar salad with no croutons or sauce...which I ordered and told the manager his GF options were a disgrace to which he then argued with me that it was a set menu!!!! (I could have a chicken burger with no bun or chips or fish with no batter and chips) This main course salad was given to me after an hour and a half when everyone was finished their starter and main course, I was then given a cocktail for my inconvenience, if you are a coeliac avoid this place.More

Very disappointed service left a lot to desire , food was good quality most dishes were returned no questioning by staff was the meal okay. When ordering drinks we had to request the order four times. Standards of some staff was inept.

Hi. Sorry I only see your question now. We never ate here just had drinks. I’m sure you may have to book it’s a safer option as everywhere seems very busy. Enjoy Kilkenny.
