After poking around Kilkenny to find a place to eat and encountering only pricier pubs and restaurants we happened upon Bollard's Bar. The food (seafood chowder) was great, and the music was excellent. Staff was attentive and kind.

6 of us dropped in for lunch in the middle of an energetic tour of Kilkenny. Lovely old-style pub with loads of historic items on the walls. Very friendly chatty staff, quick service & excellent food. All of us cleared our plates and left refreshed.
