3 adults 3 kids sat down for Friday afternoon lunch. We hadn't booked but still got a table. Lovely atmosphere + back round music. Service was good but a little slow but it was lunch time on a Friday. I have to say our food was...delicious. I got the platter ribs+brisket very nice around 19euro but I could not finish it. Very covid 19 compliant. Will be back.More
I ate here over the weekend with 2 friends. The restaurant is lovely, we were seated in a cosy corner at 6.30pm & we were still there at 11.30pm
when it was time to close. The staff were all very young but they were all...really efficient and really friendly. I wouid score 10/10 for service. They have an option to order drinks using an app & a QR code at your table, this was super convenient for us.
My only negative about our experience was the food. It was disappointingly average. I ordered the chicken fajitas & they were bland,
Overall we had a lovely night at Paris Texas & the pros outweighed the cons.More
Great atmosphere and friendly efficient staff, we were there for Saturday lunch, I had three starters for my lunch and my partner had the chicken fajitas, all were delicious, we really enjoyed our choices.
Visited Paris Texas after three years of being here and am sorry to say that the food has gone downhill immensely. I ordered the Smokey burger and my partner ordered the 8oz fillet steak. With the restaurant being a barbecue and grill house we presumed...that choosing these dishes would be a good choice.. seemingly not. My burger was over cooked and completely dry with the cheese completely burnt on top. The burger must have been left under a grill for far too long. I also ordered extra sauces which never came with the meal. My partners steak was brought out on a cold plate with cold, stale vegetable and roast potatoes that looked frozen and left there too long. Overall, the meal was very poor and could have at least been of the required temperature. In their favor, we advised this to a staff member who offered us a free dessert but we decided to just pay for our bill and leave. Way too overpriced for the level of food that is being served here. Sorry to say that I won’t be returning to this restaurant in the future.More
I stayed in the Lyrath which was exceptional, and during our stay we headed into Kilkenny to visit some bars. This place is fantastic, I will definitely be returning. The bar was spotless and the food was super. I have tried chicken wings in many...places, especially places that are known for their great tasting chicken wings, i.e. Elephant and Castle Dublin, but I have never tasted anything like the chicken wings here. They are super, a must order! I believe they do a ‘Chicken Wing Tuesday’ where you can try out a wide range of different flavoured chicken wings. This is one I will look into, and definitely return. Well worth a visit.More
We were lucky to find this place for dinner very late one night. The food was lovely and drinks were very nice. Place is obviously popular as it was very busy. Staff were all very nice and efficient. Would definitely go again. Menu was vast,...so have to try more dishes.More
