Great hotel! We had a wonderful time here! The room was great, and had a lovely bath! The breakfast was very nice, it had everything except hashbrowns! :) Didn't get a chance to check out the bar, but it looked nice! The water was always hot and the staff were lovely! The location made it so easy to get anywhere,... More

The food served varies but from my experience, the sandwiches were tasty and the coffee was on point. I would definitely recommend.

We started with Americano coffees which were just undrinkable, bitter and burnt you could not get in enough milk. The views were fantastic and the staff were lovely. Our family arrived and we went to sit inside and have lunch (this was in the bar as the restaurant was not open). We saw a menu and flyer for the Xmas... More

but we never got a chance to try it. When we arrived, we asked for an outside table. We were tolt that if we sat at the bar and had a drink, they would collect us when it was ready. After 15 minutes, I went out to check and there were two empty tables. I went back to bring our... More

We stopped for a very pleasant lunch at the Riverview Bar while on a day trip to Kilkenny. We just wanted something light and the menu provided us with many nice choices. I had a bowl of seafood chowder and my husband had the chicken/bacon salad. We also had some wine. Both our meals were very good and reasonable. Service... More

We were lucky enough to get some good weather and we sat outside by the river. Nice friendly attentive staff. We just had a toasted sandwich. They gave us brown bread when we requested it. Huge triple decker sandwich arrived with salad and crisps on the side. Really nice. We spend most of the afternoon here and watched a wedding... More

We dropped in to the Riverside restaurant for coffee and cakes during an afternoon in May. The staff were very attentive and the whole ambiance was of old-time elegance with white cloths and napkins. Although our order was modest, everything was of excellent quality. However we wished we had been more hungry, for the delights on the three tier stand... More

We stayed at the River Court hotel which this restaurant resides in. We had one dinner here and it was the best meal of my entire 8 days in Ireland, and surprisingly not the most expensive meal. In addition, the staff were impeccable. We were well taken care of, especially as my boyfriend has a food allergy. The restaurant manager,... More

Had dinner with my wife and family very nice food and very clean establishment very dissapointed with bar man named Michael very rude an obnoxious slamming glasses on counter even the young waitress was embarrassed and kept apologizing on his behalf felt sorry for this girl who had to tolerate that behaviour.
