I extremely slow service, we had to wait nearly 40 minutes for each course. We’ were asked if we like ketchup, mayo or vinegar with our mains and chips, we did not get them nor could we get attention of staff. They seemed to be...super understaffed! Once I did get there attention the burger was cold and they only brought ketchup’ and no salt, vinegar or mayo! When we brought our dissatisfaction to the staffs attention they nearly broke down at the table and apologised for the other staff member’ there were only two staff. Over all the food was okay and I don’t think I will go back neither will me friends! My friend ordered the parmesan chip’ btw… they only came out as normal chips with a sprinkle of dry Parmesan on top.More

We were staying across the street and a bit tired and hungry our first night in Ireland so we thought we would give this place a try. What a lucky decision! The chicken pesto pizza was marvelous and my mouth is watering remembering it. The...atmosphere was very inviting and the service was friendly and quick. I keep finding reasons to come back to Kilkenny and this restaurant is definitely on the list!More

great night food was fab we had wings pizza and bolognaises were very tasty wine and all our drinks were nice service was very good nothing too much trouble our daughter also had brownie dessert which she said was delicious will visit again

Stopped here for a lunch on a trip to Kilkenny in April beautiful food we had the wings, tagliatelle bolognaises, carbonara and Arrabiata. Service excellent a lovely little gem in Kilkenny city.

Best pizza in Kilkenny, very nice interior and friendly staff....cant go wrong really. Always enjoy eating here.

We had a great experience from the minute we entered to when we left!! The lady who served us was amazing so professional even though she was the only one on the floor she served everyone as quickly and efficiently as she possibly could!!! Food...was 5 star!!! From starters to dessert we could not fault a thing!! Will be back!!!More

Popped in on a Saturday evening but unsurprisingly no space in the restaurant for a group of 13! The host gave us multiple options and offered us the option of a takeaway. 13 pizzas and a bolognaise later - very happy customers! Will be coming...back next time we are in Kilkenny!! Thank you :)More

Myself, hubbie and 3 kids ate here this evening. Between us we had nachos, pizza, garlic bread, pasta arrabiata, chicken goujons, chips and beefburger. Hands down the best food we have had out. Authentic, fresh and simply delicious. Beautiful atmosphere and setting. Would highly recommend...and excellent value too. Thank you for a lovely dining experience.More

We walked into La Rivista without a reservation on a Saturday night, but they made room for us. The food was amazing. We tried the Italian Nachos out of curiosity and are big fans. My husband and I tried a unique Veggie pizza and my...sister and brother-in-law tried the Nduja pizza. They were both excellent. We enjoyed our drinks and food very much. They were patient and kind with us, with wonderful and fast service. We highly recommend this restaurant.More
